I have had both on my model S plaids. The ultra red is a higher quality paint and thicker. My blue one was torn up from chips on the front bumper. The paint isn’t as thick, and doesnt have anywhere the shine and quality the UR has. The red doesn’t show dirt as much and looks cleaner dirty.

Had an ultra red with white interior. It was an amazing combo

I think good info for those on this board would be advice on when to get a trade value and when to order. I too was screwed in the past by a major drop in trade value from Tesla, on a Tesla. Anyone have a good strategy?

yep! Never buy a Porsche Taycan new, or most EVs for that matter. Mine came with a "track pack" too, as it had ceramic brakes. Previous owner even did a full body PPF, and it was CPO. Definitely got lucky finding it locally.

after having 2 MSP's I can say that Tesla prioritizes fixing issues in the 3 and Y way better than the S and X. They are the 90% seller. With that being said, why I don't own a Model S anymore is due to 1. Vibration issues- go to the Model S/X forum. Mine was bought back from Tesla for a 80+...

After 2 Plaids, last one being bought back for vibrations, the M3 is just made better than the S. Less vibrations, no camber issues wearing rear tires I bet too
