Abington services is being upgraded with an additional 8 x V3’s being installed!

I was at Woodall south two days ago, they have installed 2 cabinets and 8 V3’s but I also noticed another two cabinets have been delivered to site, I think each cabinet is 4 stalls, so could be another 8 chargers going in with this new delivery?

Just seeing if anyone has any pictures of Abington upgrades and how they are going? I saw a few weeks ago expansion works had started?

Just seen that Abington services in Scotland have had construction works started by the same company that installs Tesla chargers! Looks like they were waiting for Gretna to finish groundwork before adding more units here!

Just an FYI - Gretna Chargers are closed and work is being done on the new expansion. Queues at scotch corner and Abington we’ve experienced today travelling up north!

I used Hopton services on M42 today and there are a large amount of oval tombstones bases going in next to the old V2’s. I assume this is similar preservation as Gretna Green being expanded as well? Fingers crossed Woodhall services next in line of Welcome break sites in for an upgrade!

Looks like Abington is back alive again, reduced down to 6 stalls, still noted at 130kw speeds. Unsure if V3’s installed or just kept the V2’s.

Morning, Do we have any photos of Abington services being “upgraded” as been offline now for several months! Also great news on Hopwood services! Are these new chargers or upgrading the old V2’s to V3’s/V4’s like Tebay and lifton?

This is a good one, will be very popular! Cannot see it being an open to all due to location and how busy Barnsley/Woodhall is! Great location and site facilities too!

I’m Europe most cars are 22kw ac, I’m very happy with 11kw speeds. Future proofing.

It looks like it’s an similar set up to Blyth services. Both gridserve and Tesla should be installed at same time! Anyone passing could get some pictures and see? Started building works about a month ago!

I emailed the shopping village last year and they wouldn’t share who it was with either. Fingers crossed! I’ve not been by the Moto services for a few years now, didn’t know they installed high powered hub! Has anyone been to the actual services and see if any SuC’s installed yet?

Lots of expansion happening which is great to see! I hope to see Scotch Corner and Mansfield expanded! Also do we know when the other 4 tombstones at Newark will be switched on? Keep going SuC team!

Just been by today, massive building site, I couldn’t see any Tesla labeled box’s but it’s a big site.

There’s now 2 new pins near myself, Newark (A46/A1) and Sheffield which is directly over Meadowhall shopping centre!

Last few weeks I’ve been queuing at Woodhall and Mansfield SuC’s. These need expanding as this area of M1 is poor for ultra rapid charging!

FYI, Nottingham Victoria Centre (Intu) is now on the Tesla SuC map with 12 stalls installed!
