FYI the oem continentals only have a 240 tread rating. 15-20k is probably normal for those tires. Hankook have a 600 tread rating. They will last longer but not sure you’ll reach 50k on a staggered setup.

The 22s for the plaid will come with summer tires from the factory (continental sportcontact 6). If you order the LR with 22s it will come with pirelli scorpion zero all seasons.

FINALLY the app randomly gave me the prompt to update my phone key and now ultra wide band is working. However, it’s still not working on my wife’s phone lol. I’ve deleted the keys and reinstalled the app several times now on both phones. Seems random as f.

I went through the steps above and it still doesn’t show under nearby interactions. I’m in the US. 2023 MXP on 2024.2.3 and iPhone 14 Pro app version 4.30.0.

FWIW I used to be able to do that with my MYP as well but after some app updates they removed that feature even on the MYP. You can use a third party app like Tessie to see degradation but at least that solution does cost money.

I experienced similar issues with both doors. Driver side: Mobile service replaced the sensor and I was told that if the issue continued I’d have to take it into the service center where they have a machine that can see what the sensor is seeing and determine the correct fix. Unfortunately...

Funny enough when the door drive motor dies it actually feels “engaged” the entire time and never “releases.” Ask me how I know… lol

The iON evo AS are ultra high performance all season. They do make them for the 22 inch plaid size and discount tire sells them online. When the time comes I’ll either get these or the Pirelli scorpion zero A/S.

The other tire I’m considering are the new Hankook iON EVO AS SUV tires. These are available in the stock 22 inch size but not sure if they would handle the plaid power as well as the Pirelli. Definitely seems like the Pirelli are safe bets.

Unfortunately no. I’m on 2023.44.30.4 and the front doors still only open 8-10 inches. I’ll keep praying to the tesla gods for them to update soon.

Yes they tinted both our MYP and Model X Plaid. We also had them PPF (front bumper, hood, fenders, Mirrors and side skirt) our MYP back in late 2021. I’m taking the MX plaid to them for PPF next week.

Rear camber arms or macboost rear camber shims (much cheaper for palladium model X) are the go to mods to save rear tire wear. While I have heard good things about the rear sway bar from Unplugged Performance, I don’t really see many people doing this mod (ie no a “required“ mod).

Ultra red for sure. White interior with red exterior looks great. Midnight silver isn’t bad but a bit boring. My plaid is midnight silver with black interior. I plan to wrap it matte to make it less boring imo. We have a red with white interior MYP and it looks amazing.

Plaid comes standard with 20s but the 22s definitely look better (imo).

I’m almost certain the higher top speed for the 22inch wheels is because they come with summer tires which are rated for a higher speed than the all season tires that come with the 20s.
