So my tail lights have been misaligned/haven't been flush since delivery. I finally took the time to see why and made an interesting discovery:
There are no nuts securing the bolts behind my tail lights. I mean I have seen a lot of things, but come on.
(I realize I could easily correct this...
This only makes me wonder how your steering wheel and seat are positioned.
For sh*ts and giggles I went out to my car and found it impossible for me to block the speedometer when seated in any normal position.
I've moved to just using the Tesla app, but for a brief period I did track both. I'm not sure what you are doing, but mine were pretty much in lock step.
This is for USD, so I can't speak to other currencies and conversions.
And yet people perpetuate the myth. Some people are going to be mighty disappointed should they ever encounter a similar situation.
Same goes for lemon law. Some people seem to think you can pull out a Michael Scott/The Office "I declare bankruptcy!" and it's a done deal. There is a process and...
I was helping a friend move this weekend and had to drive his vehicle. Instead of reaching for the shift lever I reached for the steering column stalk and activated the wipers.
I guess I must be the odd man out in that even in prior vehicles I owned that supported AC/AA I always just preferred to use the applications native to the built in system.
It would be a horrible oversight in engineering to suggest that the car can't be jacked up from a single jack point to do something like changing a tire.
Anyway, I did it when swapping out summer wheels/tires for winter ones and had no issue.
Since I only just received my M3P in late September I didn't really have an attachment to the old UI.
Although I don't understand some of the changes, I don't dislike the update. For me it's not better or worse, just different.
I don't mean to nitpick, but then how did another member who ordered 16 days after I did have their order fulfilled ahead of me if the above is true?
I am happy that things finally seem to be going out though.
Man, the one thing I can say after getting a Tesla is that there sure are a lot of bootlickers in the community.
I can tell you from experience that this is not normal for other dealers/manufacturers, so why are you trying to normalize it?
Edit: Just noticed the moderator response. This is how...
I often wonder what the point is of people declaring they are unhappy with their vehicle so they intend on upgrading to something that costs at least twice as much as their current vehicle.
I took delivery of my 2021 M3P in September. It came with 2021.11.103. It took quite some time but it finally updated to 2021.36.5.5 on 10/28.
I don't have FSD and have not seen any additional updates.
Wait, so now the story isn't that your inventory ended up at two different warehouses, but that you never even had all of it in the first place (i.e., a large portion of it is on multiple ships coming from China still?)
Why would you then in this very thread tell people to still keep ordering...
Man, how did we survive before all this technology and nannies that are included with cars these days?
Had nobody to blame back then for stuff like this. Of course the OP shouldn't really be blaming anyone else either.
I filed a report with the FTC. I suggest others in a similar situation do the same. This isn't so much about me (others have waited much longer to no avail), but the countless others that have been having trouble with this company.
Enough is enough.

Note: I did...
I am not sure. I briefly had a late 2018 rental and that was definitely louder than my 2021, but as you stated that could be due to a myriad of other factors/improvements.
If I ever get my Tesla Shields order I will let you know.
(In all seriousness though, afaik there haven't been any changes on the 2022 from the 2021 so far, other than it having a 2022 VIN)
I encountered this issue when my 18" winter wheels and tires arrived from Tire Rack for my 2021 M3P. Shortly after receiving my order I got an email saying that Tesla changed the assembly and that the wheels/balancing weights might interfere with operation.
They have since removed 18" options...
I am in the same boat. I was very patient at first and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since it seems like the mats are a very good product, but this has gotten ridiculous.
9/27 order# 3285
I believe this is from the window hitting it. A tow truck driver did the same thing in roughly the same spot on the passenger side of my vehicle after the 12v battery died and the window would no longer automatically roll up/down when the door was open and closed.
Have you or someone else used...
