I got a sort of similar text last week, got into the start of my last EDD window (Sep 17 - Oct Oct 8), and the my EDD got pushed to Nov - Dec earlier this week.

I originally ordered a MX LR in July and my initial estimate was Apr - June 2023. I switched to Plaid about a week later and my EDD is around the Nov - Dec. Looking at the spreadsheet, Plaid orders get fulfilled in about 3 months (give or take). For me, I have a trade-in so waiting 6-12 months...

My Model S was vin'ed on a Saturday.

I texted the number Tesla has been sending me information about delivery locations affecting EDDs. They replied, "Changing your delivery location from one center in Los Angeles to another will not change your estimated delivery date."

You would think that those two places being a little under 25 miles apart would make no difference. But then again, there may be more logistical issues (LB being new, can't handle as many deliveries as MdR, etc).

The Long Beach delivery center is a few miles closer to me, so it's purely out of convenience. I'm hoping the bump in dates are just a place holder, but I'm not one to complain since there are many folks who have waited over a year for theirs. The building/crushing of hope through shifting EDDs...

I'm in Los Angeles and my EDD was pushed back yesterday: Was Sep 13 - Oct 4, now Nov 4 - Dec 30. Sidenote: I did request to change my delivery location from Marina Del Rey to Long Beach last week.

I'm in the same situation... Been holding Blank on EDD for a few weeks now and at this point there's no use in checking so often - it'll get here when it gets here. I suppose one would hope we would get a better quality build by the time our cars are delivered.

My EDD has been holding at Blank now for a good week. I'm hoping for an updated EDD by the time EOQ is over.
