I had the same issue. Call Tesla support and they will manually add the gateway to your app.

Yes. 18s will give you better "ride quality" as there are more meat on the rims. Just know that while turn you will experience soft floaty feeling vs the 19 sport rims, but if you are just doing normal daily driving in stop-and-go traffic it's perfect.
