Your setup is so clean - love the matching rooftop box, ties it all in! On that box - do you find you can fit a lot more stuff in there on roadtrips/does it affect your range a lot?

creaking @slow speed /turning after upper control arms replaced

Could you describe the creaking to the best of your ability? Could be the LCA bushings too - might be worth spraying some white lithium grease on them to see if it quiets them down some.

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

That’s the way I feel with black wheels however, they look amazing in person! You could always powder coat them a custom color too. I may go down that route in the next year.

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

There’s a lot of truth to your reply! I had high expectations of the top end pull improving substantially. In the pursuit of that expectation becoming a reality I did overlook the good small improvements they made. Overall I think it’s solid, I was just hoping for a Plaid go kart 🤗

    DWS06+ or PS4AS or FK460

Oh wow that is great feedback, thank you! How is the tire noise on the PSAS4 as it wears? I’m on the fence between the DWS06+ and the PSAS4’s but the main thing for me would be tire noise as they wear!

Plaid S or Highland Model 3 Performance

semantics at this point - the threads intent is which one would folks pick and why, just one opinion among others at the end of the day!

Plaid S or Highland Model 3 Performance

Hello? It seems you’re biased in your response based off your personal experience with an S…no? 3 of your 6 quoted items are subjective…the remaining are facts. Where does my lack of education factor into my earlier reply?

2024 Model 3 Performance Announced - Discussion thread post announcement

This man is saying what we’re all thinking…the new M3P is a huge let down. One can argue the opposite “rationalizing your purchase for a new car” but at the end of the day we all wanted more top end power and this release doesn’t have it…
  16. canasion35

Plaid S or Highland Model 3 Performance

I’d go for the S Plaid. The highland model 3 P just fell flat in terms of performance over the older M3P. I was hoping for like plaid top end acceleration (or close to it) but sigh. Tesla failed the assignment. Just a new front lip, rear spoiler, “active” dampers, seats, and wheels😓

Pic of your Model 3.......RIGHT NOW! [model 3 pictures thread]

I was shook by how much the damping and spring rates changed how the car handled. It felt like a new car that was WAY more capable in every regard. No shade towards the Tein’s, they were just a tad too soft spring rate wise and the damping curve wasn’t sufficient with the single way adjustment...

The KW setup is honestly night and day (good thing) compared to the Teins. Love these KW’s damping, it’s just on another level.

Sadly they don’t have these in 265/35/19!

Hey guys - looking to see if anyone has first hand experience on any of these tires in the snow. We’re planning a roadtrip from FL to UT in early December and anticipating a decent amount of snow that we may have to get through. Anyone from that UT area that could opine on snow amounts around...

Do you have more pics on your fitment of this tire? I’ll need to go into snow this winter and looking at this exact setup! Pics preferably down the side, to see how the sidewalls look on the front and rear if you have em!

Available WTT: System Spec TE37’s (TMPS + PS4S)

Hey there @adkua! I don’t have any SlipLo installed on this lip - my thinking was that the SlipLo reduced ground clearance a couple mm’s and i wanted to reduce any scraping period. All that to say - i still scrape the edges on really large inclines but I’ve settled with the fact that the...

Potentially looking to trade out of my current set of System Spec TE37’s wrapped in 265/35/19 PS4S’ and the Bluetooth TPMS. Looking for either BBS’ or the 20 inch performance wheels with tires and TPMS. BBS - can add cash for the right setup. Grey Performance Stilletos or Uberturbines - you...

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

Yeah mainly looking for sound levels to go down on the next set. I don’t drive 10/10 all the time anymore and got that outta my system on this set of PS4S’. Looking to quiet things down and AS tires are the way I think.

Discussion: All Season Vs Summer Tires

This is the comparison I want to see. I’m in between the PSAS4, Hankook Evo Ion, and the Falken fk460 AS… Mainly looking for decent sportiness and most importantly, QUIET ride after 12-15k miles of use. The PS4S (non foam) are super loud after 18k miles and have around 5/32 tread left...

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Thanks for the feedback from both of you guys! In that case I’m sticking with the 265/35. Next choice is v601 or the fk460!
  39. canasion35

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Anyone try the apex v601 in 285/35/19 on the system spec TE37’s? Saw that this specific size was like 40% for $600 shipped and figured If it fits, I might as well try em! Knowing the v601’s run narrow (ish) I wonder if the 285’s will work or not….
