New Key Cards - Activation Needed?

My wife put hers in a safe secure place...... Too safe! New ones on ordered while signed in to my account. Will they come authenticated to our M3 or will I need to do something with them before they will work?

How do I delete streaming radio station icons?

I’ve got some duplicates and some I don’t like. How can I remove them from that horizontal menu bar where the FM radio frequencies appear?

    Charging wire getting hot

I did that, Big Earl. No change in the 235 initial volts; at 32 amp it settles slightly lower at 223v. Little difference. Could be our hydro system is more heavily loaded than earlier this morning, or the wires a different temp.

    Charging wire getting hot

Thank you all for the excellent advice. I am feeling more relaxed about it’s safety. And I think I will drop to 24 amps - we and visitors are usually here overnight so that rate is most adequate. One answer I would appreciate from all of you helpful folk - does your Tesla supplied standard...

    Charging wire getting hot

Not even close to that temp! And my understanding confirms yours on the equivalency of #6 Al to #8Cu; an electrician recommended the Al choice. I did put the anti oxidant on all terminals. See the long reply I just made to bo3bdar’s posting.

    Charging wire getting hot

Yes, the Tesla cord gets quite warm as well, both at the car end and where it exits the wall plug. Wire length: from my 200 amp panel via twin 40 amp breakers I have 115 ft of buried #6AWG ‘direct bury’ armoured Al cable to a garage sub panel. From the sub panel via another pair of 40 amp...

    Charging wire getting hot

Thanks; yes, using the UMC which came with the car. Don’t understand your comment on 50 amps; I’m only running 32. If the UMC is designed for 32 would I expect it to run warm at 32? And I’m still concerned about the #6 wire warm at 32 amps. Is warm wire the norm/safe?

    Charging wire getting hot

My 6 AWG (aluminum) power supply wires and the ‘21 M3’s plug in cord get very warm when charging at 32 amp/224 volt. Is this normal/concerning? The supply wiring terminals are new, tight and not heating - just the wires.

    Bug Reporting

Thanks. So asking it a different way, how would you suggest I contact Tesla for an issue?

    Bug Reporting

Newbie here - had my '21 M3 for a month. How can I report bugs to Tesla 'after the fact' as opposed to using a voice report when it happens?

Only 1 turn signal blink at the first detent; phantom window openings

That worked!! Thanks for the suggestion - I often give that advice for misbehaving iPhones but I guess I haven't yet got the mind set that the T is a big computer on wheels. Here's hoping it cures the occasional window opening - time will tell.

Only 1 turn signal blink at the first detent; phantom window openings

I just get one blink unless I hold it there. Manual says 3 blinks. Anybody else experiencing this? I've had the car 3 weeks; this has been the case with 48.26 and now 48.30. Also I've found a window unexpectedly down 3-4" on 3 different occasions.

    48.26 to 48.30...? + Wiper anomaly, and a Range/Distance Query

My 2 week old M3 LR-AWD advised of an update a couple of nights ago and in the morning I still had 48.26, c/w it's release notes. But the App says I now have 48.30 (followed by a long number ending in ....bad. I don't think I have 48.30; can't find out much about it. ?? Another query...

    2020.48.x

My two week old M3 advised it was installing 48.30 overnight, and today it's still on 48.26 in the car; release notes are also still for 48.26. But on the app it shows 48.30 and the long number also ending in ...bad. So I don't think I have 48.30 on the car..... any advice? Any knowledge...
