main thing is speed, clear day And altitude for me. I use low AC, family of 3, some cargo , 19” tire At 42 psi and normal acceleration to get very close to EPA. just need to follow speed limted. 😉

Agreed. when the Y was over 60k and no incentive, I told my buddies don’t buy. It’s overpriced but it’s a great EV/car. If u have free charging or solar, do it. when low 50 for LR or , mid 50 for the P, plus incentice… it’s a no brainer. IMO

Same here. I don’t even hear it anymore. but when I’m fast DC charging from low SOC , I can hear pop every now and then. Maybe the battery metal protection shield expanding?

With incentives, a model 3 is low 30s in some states. Some even mid 20! A model Y is a few thousand more. It’s cheaper than a avg new gas car. Just saying if u need a market for a new car. It’s a no brainer

Congrats! I drive about 2000-2500 miles monthly. Absolutely love my MYP. Never going back! especially for road trips.

Just plug it up nightly to 80-90% and dont even worry about it. beat the hell out of going to gas stations! at the end, really depend on how u drive. Ppl complain about low range, just slow down! Lol

How’s the app for the I5? I loved how easy it is to use the Tesla, especially turning on AC or heat. Opening/unlocking features. And all the info u need.

I find 68-75 is a good speed. Without getting a ticket or scaring the family. im happy with 270-290 wh/mi. 250 wh/mi is not hard to keep up but u really need to be gently on the pedal.

Seat beat buckle? release the rear seat down and do ur test run. If sound is gone, it’s related to ur rear seat.

So pretty much. Just follow speed limit and u will hit EPA. from my testing, even over 5-10 mph, u can still get close to EPA. goal is, hit 250 ish wh/mi and u will absolutely EPA.

2022 MYP with 28k now. With 19” martian wheels. 270 wh/mi. 42 psi. 5-10 mph over speed limit (65 mph around the sf Bay Area). Every now and then, i need to have some fun. :)
