I doubt that very much, Android phones only get updates to the operating system if the manufacturer bothers.

From my personal testing the priority is based on the exact orientation of your car to lay lines, dowsing rods are essential to ensure early updates.

I would highlight the words 'not a strict rule' and 'generally'. Your personal example doesn't invalidate that.

It's not a strict rule, but it seems that new cars generally don't get updates for the first month or so.
