Easy...the battery needs to be able to hold 100% charge after 20 years! Charging stations need to be able to recharge your battery from 0-100% in 5 mins. I can still do this with my first 20 year old benz. The tank size hasn't shrunk, and I can refill in any gas station in 5 mins.

Battery tech needs a quantum leap (longevity and density/capacity). Charging station tech also needs a quantum leap. Until then...I still discourage all my acquantances and others from getting an EV.

Agreed...it seems every update made some weird changes to NOA. The last great update for me was just before the Christmas update. NOA actually took the appropriate exits and off ramps. Nowadays...I have to keep an eye out...like watching out for a new learning driver. What I still don't...

for me fsd purchase was mandatory requirement for a new car. it was between this, copilot, or hyundai's sensing tech. I drive over 60 mi everyday for work. autopilot and any automation is welcome to make my life easier. Right now the tech in this car does nearly 90% of my daily drive. Fsd...

I get slow downs not quite phantom braking....but it's like it wants to brake...but changed its mind. The NOA also missed some forks. The auto lane change seems to detect bad drivers better.

Really at high speeds, the performance is the same as the LR AWD. So what else other than boat anchor wheels, and some additional parts that will only be beneficial on the track that would make it seem cooler? Tesla's game nowadays is all about the tech they put out....so it's going to be FSD...
