I would reach out to them and see if it's possible. Tell them your situation that you don't have a nearby service center. See if they would sell you what's required and send tech info on how to do the repair/replacement. It's possible they might work with 3rd party dealerships as well, so maybe...

Unfortunately, the only repair known is bringing the car in and replacing the harness and latch sensor that goes to the frunk. That's what it took to make the notification go away....

Still interesting.... although as stated on a previous post - my mobile appointment was cancelled with no recommendation for follow up except to update software when available.

That's great news! Please follow up with a post after the appointment and let us all know if it's been resolved! Curious how this mobile service was able to identify a repair and mine nixxed my appointment altogether!

Interesting thought about the tow hitch - I have it as well, but curious about why you would think the tow hitch has any affect regarding FW/SW updates?

Thanks for the input - strange thing about it is though, even though my MY is on this weird build (2020.11.103.5) it still shows traffic signals, crosswalks, etc. For sure it has hw3 but not having software/hardware updates I would think it wouldn't show those additional visualization...

It's the same 2020.11.103.5 - how do we get an update?! Or does it just take awhile for our new MYs to get into the "matrix"?
