Does anyone have a reference to what the charge added in the app/car is? I suspect this is DC so post inverter? If so, is the real useage of the car is actually 10% more due to the inverter losses?
Yes but sometimes you need too or like me, I get Octopus power UP sessions of free electric so I'm furiously hitting that bump button at the beginning of the session.
I get this but only between the time of plugging in and Octopus setting the charging plan. Can be 5mins to 30mins for me. Also after it has done that bit and is ready, with my android app, you press bump charge, it gives you that error but if you go somewhere else in the app like the home button...
I returned a non Tesla car back to lease. Use the BVRLA guide above it's really useful. Take pictures of everything that might be questioned. In my experience if it's being collected at your home it's the driver who collects inspects it. I had a ding which I sort of managed to pull out with hot...
I like hearing them squirm with excuses not to do MOTs on tesla. When they refuse you can request a 'refusal to test' decision in writing which they then have to upload to the MOT system.
I found with some updates the light height would go back to 'normal'. 'normal' being dazzling everyone! I usually have to do 2 clicks down on both sides to stop being flashed by every on coming car. (And yes the calibration was done with an empty boot and on a level surface. I can't guarantee...
All they tyre shops around me refuse to fit anything that's not TO rated. So many discussions with shop managers, all say no because they will be liable if something went wrong.
Are you sure? I had my 3 phase uprated to 100a per phase from 60a and nothing changed. I can't find anything in the T's and C's with regards to this with Octopus, have you a link to this?
Not sure if this is specific to this SW version but I've just witnessed some really dangerous driving so pressed the icon to save the clip. Took out the SSD and the playback ends as I pressed save which is useless as it doesn't see the aftermath caused by his driving. Thinking it was a one off...
I'm also experiencing very quiet indicators at below 50mph, above that they are fine. Tesla need to realise the my M3 is not as quiet as the newer ones!
Absolutely, I'm on 100k now and 3 years old, all of the joints suddenly creaked front, back, top bottom. Must of been the heat drying them all out. Greased them all with the needle method. All silent now.
I guess there will be a lot of people who collected in Sept now getting quotes.
Boom who I was with at £550 have just said a flat no to insure.
LV I can't get on the website at the moment, might be because I'm in France at the moment.
Direct line £1800.00
Admiral beast at the moment at £888.00...
Also check you've no linked apps waking the car up randomly. I think a podpoint one I used to have that I gave access to for scheduled charging was waking the car up periodically. Like everyone says , sentry off and overheat protection off. I also hit the power off button too, not sure how much...
Yeah, but getting non T0 tyres fitted is next to impossible. Today I went to get 4 Hankook ventus ion s fitted at Just Tyres and they refused to fit them.
I fitted e-primacy to my LRM3 47k miles ago and they are not T01 rated.

Is there a difference between a tyre that has been approved by a car manufacturer and a type-approved tyre?
All tyres must comply with the legislation of...
I do and always will keep my car plugged in every day with the limit set to 80%. Has worked well for the 2.5 years so far. Only charge to 100% when I know I'm doing a big journey the following day.
Over 82k miles I've, according to the trip screen, averaged 250 w/mile in my '20 LR M3.
Winter is usually 300 w/mi plus and summer right down to 180w/mi.
The perfect temp is around 20°C I found so you have low air density and also no need for AC etc.
Fitted e-primacy about 18 months ago. No noticeable noise increase. Did notice they feel softer in the corners than the PS4.
Has the same average power consumption too.
got 34k miles from the OE PS4 and currently on 43k miles on the e-primacy.
pics attached of the trip which I reset in new tyres...
Guys with sentry issues, if you haven't already I'd get yourself an external USB SSD drive rather than a USB flash or SD card. It helps with file corruption and also has better access time for playback.
Thought I'd read on the release notes it looks at what the SC can deliver and then precondition if it's over a certain KWH. I.e. if you going to a busy old SC site where they are at capacity then charging at 60kwh doesn't need to waste energy warming the battery up. I used to do this when I was...
I see this version combined with the new version of the app says there is a new control of opening the doors in case of frozen handles. Anyone seen this on the app yet? I've android can someone with apple check?
Found another feature of this release, I have to select my profile at least twice for the steering wheel to extend towards me to it's correct position. Each press of my profile gives me just a little bit 😂
Updated this week and think I've skipped a version where the radar is now off.
Using Autopilot at night now puts the lights on auto high beam? Was this introduced in the last version?
Just had my renewal from Churchill and it's increased by £150 for no reason whatsoever, nothing has happened or changed my end.
Anyone else noticed this? Done a couple of comparison searches and found one £250 cheaper but it's with 'Boom' who I've never heard of before. Anyone with them?
Yes, as above I've found the indicator needs to be fully on and not just tapped (for a lane change 🤔) to to allow less pressure to move from the lane you are in.
