So TL;DR - 4 bikes on a platform rack is too heavy for the tow hitch because it flex's too much - 2 bikes on a platform rack is fine? I have a Kuat NV with 2 bikes. I typically carry two mountain bikes which is roughly 30 pounds each. If I'm reading your post correctly, I should be fine?

Just did it today. It was pretty easy, I didn’t have any issues like I saw on a few YouTube videos. Overall took about 2.5 hours for me to install. OP: Have you found a solution for the hitch cover? I really don’t like the one included in the EcoHitch. I wonder how Tesla does it for their OEM one.

It's at the factory, right in front of the show room. I originally was not supposed to pick up at Fremont. There is a closer Tesla service center to me, but I guess they are diverting to Fremont for most bay area deliveries? Didn't completely mind it

I just called my local tesla service center (not fremont) and the sales person helped me. He was actually the nicest person i've ever talked to tesla and actually helped. Wish i got to talk to him prior, because it would have changed my view, even if they didn't have updates.

I am at the screen where they ask me to upload my insurance. In california you don't need your VIN in your insurance right away when you buy a car, so I uploaded my existing insurance card.

I think several people here arn't doing trade-ins and still arn't getting it. I see a lot of white interiors in here that arn't getting the text. But I have the most basic order White ext/Black int still nothing. No trade in, Tesla financing.

IMO. It takes them longer to ship to East coast. So they ship to east coast first. By the time it gets there, they are producing to sell to the West Coast. If they delivered to West Coast first and fulfilled orders here, they wouldn't be able to get them to the East coast in time by EOQ due to...

Yeah... thats messed up. I upgraded my from RWD to AWD about a month or 2 ago and literally still haven't heard anything. (not even the email "everybody" got) They were nice enough to honor the lower AWD pricing.

Called in today and apparently this sales person couldn't help me because I already have an advisor assigned. Never even knew I had an advisor nor told I had one... great experience lol. The guy I spoke to said, that your advisor is supposed to help and guide you through this entire process...

I will likely pick up from Dublin as well. Was there any thing else you can share about the experience there? Was there a bunch of people picking up? I also agree it’s weird you had to pay and accept delivery before you even saw the car. Was the car completely paid off or financed?

You're a perfect example case that's totally unfair... Over a year of reservation and nothing. I definitely do see a lot of recent purchasers getting their car delivered.. Like are they sorting their excel spreadsheet the opposite way or something??? I've also been waiting since last year...
