I just picked up my new MY with tow package. Any suggestions on brand of hitch to buy or where to buy? I see the specs in the manual. Can I presume any local trailer company will have a hitch that fits?

I ordered my new Model Y on Oct 3rd. Rolled off assembly line yesterday with a delivery/pickup on the 11th. Now that is fast. Website estimated 4-6 weeks. Go Tesla!

Has anyone considered securing the Modern Spare in the back? It seems that in an accident that tire can come right up to front. Thinking it might be a good idea to tie it down somehow. Has any considered doing this or if you have, how did you do it?

What is covered on Extended Warranty? The list of what NOT covered is extensive, so much that I can't see what is covered. Maybe seat motors?

And does anyone know just what is covered on the Extended Warranty? I looked over the agreement and it has lots of things not covered. So much that I can't figure out what it does cover.

My M3 is best car I have ever had. Warranty repair for wiper fluid reservoir leak and nothing else in 3 years. I can't imagine having or driving anything else. So fantastic on road trips with the supercharger network too. Good luck in your decision.

My opinion is that you have unrealistic expectations of simple route planners and navigation aids. Sometimes one just has to use their brain. I use ABRP prior to trips to just do a basic check on charger options, arrival times etc, then determine the stops myself and then use Tesla nav to jump...

ABRP can be opened on the browser in car and can link with the car to give you more precise details on things like charge arrivals etc.

It occurred with and without mirages and not on crests.

I considered mirages too, but it happened early in the morning a few times. and in both cruise and auto pilot. it really sucks to not be able to use those features.

In direct answer to the question, replace it, most insurance covers broken glass no matter the cause, with a small deductible of about $100.

My car rebooted while driving (about 3 days ago). Screen just went black and after 2-4 minutes came back on. Nothing lost, but never had car reboot while driving. Had a few moments with no way to know how fast I was driving. Very odd it just did it all by itself.

What I don't like is the wipers go to Auto when on cruise control, with no way to turn them off.

I just took my 2020 M3 to SC with original battery, they checked battery, said it was going bad and replaced it for free.

I am having some service done on my M3 in the frunk area. I installed lifters that open the frunk, just the basic spring things. When the service people see those, will it void any warranty stuff? (the windshield wiper reservoir is leaking and it is located up front)

Often you can have an electrician put in a sub panel and then run your 240V circuit from there. That is what I did and put in a 50 amp for the car.
