Mine was doing it before the trial so its not that. Sleep as people noted did help by having it precondition in the morning, but it still is randomly not working. Unfortunately no way to submit an issue to Tesla and I too am out of warranty, I do have extended warranty, but its 100 deductible...
Honestly I think its cool tech, but is it worth 100 a month? I don't know. I'm thinking maybe 50 a month in the state its in. Its had a number of mistakes. Some excusable and some real bad. Honestly I think it should be free, because we are beta testing it. Problems so far on a supposed...
Of course they are useful. I have a gouge in my back drivers side door. Only could have come from somebody opening door into it. Unfortunately I didn’t see the footage.
Yes as expected, not hardware, it went off once or twice with 8.9, I haven't noticed it go off with 14 yet. I also don't know if maybe the 12volt was causing an issue as I had to replace my 12v this weekend when it died in my garage on Saturday.
Yes, because it doesn't work, I literally put my hand on the top of the wheel, literally the same way when I'm driving the car manually and it tells me to apply pressure to the wheel.
As opposed to just tapping the charge port door and it opens? Honestly for the TSL6, I would probably not get the upgraded one as none of the features are really useful.
No its actually different on FSD than it is on Autopilot at least in my car. On FSD today on the way to work I could rest my arm on my leg while holding the wheel lightly, with Autopilot I cannot do that, it is not enough and the autopilot is utterly useless. Not that this is much better, Its...
How is the chip different than the weighted steering wheel? I’m definitely thinking about it as regular AP is useless now with it nagging all the time. Extremely dangerous too as half the time the steering wheel shake takes it out of autopilot. Every 10 or 15 seconds before wasn’t terrible but...
Autopilot is one thing but what is the point of fsd if it’s nagging me to grab the wheel every 10 seconds. For one it’s down right dangerous telling me to grab the wheel when it’s making a turn. That’s how bones get broken.
Technically a wear item that in theory if you know how to use a battery charger will last longer than you have the car unless that car is a Tesla and they die randomly every few years
I turned sentry on at home and so far haven’t seen it happen again right now. Before with 8.7 it was worse with 8.9 was happening but less so it’s not hardware.
They purposely did the toe less in the rear to hopefully have less tire wear. The camber is better now in the rear, not thrilled with the front which they didn't even try to do anything for the camber. Was a recommended shop on here owned by ex tesla mechanic. I would not go back.
Unless something has changed, I don't play the games that often, the switch pro controller works perfectly and the knockoff switch pro ones for 20 bucks on amazon work with a couple of buttons reversed. Why is everyone making this so complicated?
Use a real nintendo switch pro controller, that works. Otherwise live with the swapped buttons. I have two knockoff switch pro controllers about 15-20 bucks from Amazon and both have the same issue you describe, I just get used to the buttons, I was thinking of actually getting a labeler and...
Coming back to give my opinion after going to Abaco Auto. Honestly they were nice enough but for the price of 275 I don't think it was worth it. Literally all they did differently that the 50 dollar groupon alignment was adjust the rear camber arms that I installed and camber is literally part...
Called them, maybe take it to them next time, They wanted 225 plus possibly another 50 or more to adjust the camber or maybe not, so I went with the place that was 275 and a known amount. I went to Abaco Auto in Jupiter. If I had to do it again, I would go to Four Corner or most likely just go...
Yea, most ventilated seats are garbage and useless imho when you can just hit your app to cool the car down before you get in, I had one car that had decent cooled seats, I think It was the wife's infinity, the rest have been pretty mediocre.
My passenger plastic trim keeps popping up under the door, the one that goes from under the dash below the door, driver side no issues, I pulled it up and the clips appear to be fine. Anyone else have this happen? Also, one clip is metal and one is plastic, is that normal?
Got my Whiteline Camber arms earlier than expected and installed them tonight. I watched a lot of videos on how to install these and read a lot of directions and some things were missing from pretty much all of them. They said 21mm socket. That is great, but no where did they say you need a...
Well I got a deal on whiteline camber arms for 200 and I have an alignment scheduled with a shop here who supposedly knows how to actually align the car, they knew about the adjustment in the rear from the service manual while two other shops said we can't adjust anything for camber. I don't...
No way. I used an adapter. The other guy car came with those ports. Mobile is changing stuff for the sake of changing. My cam worked fine all day yesterday and now. If a part was faulty that wouldn’t be the case. I think it’s software
Mine has happened at other times too although maybe after it sat in the garage later in the day, doing precondition in the morning seems to have solved it at night.
My top end is plenty fine. I don’t really understand that. I guess above 90 yes but most aren’t doing that. The other stuff just not that impressive. New person yes. Existing owner not do much
disappointment unless you plan on only getting new users. What current user is running out to trade for that? Car is listed as 3.1 now and does 2.99 in the right hands. Is 2.9 legit,is it really faster, I don't know, but unless its 2.7 I'm not running to buy.
Okay, last question, instructions say to jack up the arm before fully tightening the bolts to 98lbs. Where do you jack the arm? Do you jack where the lower link connects?
Just circling back on this even though the car is lowered an inch or so. I still just need camber arms? I don’t remember the toe ever being an issue. Just changed the tires now. The back are thrashed on the inside. The fronts much better. They were rotated 5800 miles ago and were rotated twice...
It was. But they couldn’t get the camber great. They said it shouldn’t be that bad. I got 20000 miles out of the tires. But they had 5 to 10 left or more of the inside didn’t wear out
