Am getting about 350 to 375 range in the bmw iX and in the missus X Plaid (20s!) we getting about 300 miles average. The iX has a slightly bigger battery but doesn't have remotely the extra power (or weight and drag) of the third motor.

Or, get good aftermarket steel lines, upgraded fluid, good aftermarket pads for a lot less. I also got the BBK from RB brakes. Recommend.

You could just do pads, lines and higher temp 660 motul... 600 might not be enough as the oem disks aren't good at venting heat

Ah yes! Oem calipers. YMMV.. do recommend improving the brakes... its a revelation especially with better tyres...

The above isnt fake caliper etc. etc. The limiting factor on the X Plaid brake kits has always been the brake pad and size of rotor, steel lines and upgraded fluid are sensible related things to do when you are in there anyways. The calipers are not too bad from the Plaid, you can see that...

I got this - Save 10% on OE Caliper BBK (410/390) for Tesla X Plaid Front and Rear (P/N 2691 & 2643) and I recommend you DONT get the steel lines from them - get them from Unplugged or similar as RB dont tell you their lines flap about - as they didnt come with brackets to keep them in check...

I got the Big Brake kit from RB brakes for my X Plaid. With steel lines and Motul fluid, its a revelation, and much needed for a nearly three ton behemoth stopping from warp speed.... The braking envelope is more, it doesnt fade as much, the brake feel (secondary to me) is actually much nicer...

Check your alignment. Relatively brand new Model X and the factory alignment is very, very poor. You can see the toe AND the camber is off in the rear. This will adversely affect wear of tyres, potentially the front too, and negatively affect handling as well as braking. I got some larger brake...

Also am fitting shims at zevcentric on the rear as we speak to sort out the appalling toe and rear alignment (factory wears out your tyres in 20k miles I have heard)

It was around 6500 for wrap in the shade I did, ymmv for what you get covered, and the brand and type of wrap chosen. The tinting was middle of the range for tinting from any tint shop so I did at the same time.

In to see Rishi in Zevcentric today and hoo boy, the rear toe is well out... way too much. Look at it from the rear. Seriously, then compare the front wheel alignment. Like this from factory, like the *sugar* panel alignments. If you keep the car, get it professionally aligned at least...

I have the X Plaid and the iX. I drive the iX, and yes, overall the iX is the better car for most use cases and to drive and be in. Tesla is better in some things. But feels like a Kia or less inside. Panel gaps and paint quality and material quality is obviously way tf worse than Kia of course...

Have the iX, it's plenty fast and actually gets a chunk more range than you think. Plus sides, it's got laugh out loud better build quality and materials (like... well... like a high end bmw really, and you forget what that is like!). Handling is better, nvh is better. Downsides, a few...

Recommend you get a second opinion and get the claim reimbursed- do a BBB case, and it will guarantee a response from Tesla. Dont even waste time trying to work with Tesla direct, unless you like blood pressure meds.

You know the answer... my response was to buy the Plaid X for the missus and personally waft in a bmw iX. That goes further, and in most cases better. Not as quick of course. But better to drive and to be in.
