I got my VIN on the 12th, the car has been on site for a few days and they won’t schedule the delivery, first it was the software now they are saying it is the window sticker 🙄

My first Tesla I never got one, my second one I think it is in the cubby in the trunk since I got the car lol I’ve never looked at those when I got a new car.

Finally an update .. so I guess I may get mine before yours @whoosierdaddy .. time will tell

@whoosierdaddy You might as I texted today and they keep saying it is on engineer hold .. really bad communication from them .. one line response only

I feel your pain, mine is onsite but has engineer hold … probably waiting on firmware updates.

That’s mine ..they keep saying Engineering hold when I ask for status !!

I think it is crazy but at least you are getting better response than I am the Indianapolis team are only saying they are waiting to hear from their engineering team and no update was pushed today :(

I’ve been waiting for my new Tesla since Jan 13th, switched to the Performance b/c it looks nice and I really though it would get first once there was so many issues with the white seats on the LR lol I just got a new update, pushed another day too :)

I was looking on my VIN and Digit 8 is Motor/Drive Unit and mine is letter T which is not listed on the VIN Decoder 2024. https://vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov/mid/home/displayfile/fbec7f77-5e2b-4d06-b46c-267e7327c2ff Are those with VIN assigned has the same letter T on digit 8?

I am not sure how special it is to wait since Jan 13th lol I switched to the Performance because it looks really nice :) so why not .. I guess is the reward to wait for a car for almost 5 months lol

I am not sure what do you mean by the VIN no being really real.. I got my VIN yesterday and the request to upload the insurance.

We are the only ones with Red/White interior combo so far lol… I had FSD on my 2019, it changed a lot since but I still have trust issues .. I don’t trust other drivers around here lol… and I love driving too much to let it drive for me..

Does the VIN in the mobile app replace the need to finding the code inside the webpage? Or that still a thing that it is first there before the showing up in the app?

Did you download Tesla app logged and it shows June 7th as delivery date? I switched my LR Red/White that was taking forever to the Performance within the first hour that was available to order the Performance and I have mine showing still May 7 - June 4..

I am sure this will be a very unpopular post:p but any recommendations for 18” wheel for the new performance? Way too many potholes in Indy and I am sure I will be like some of my friends with 21” wheels that have to replace them often.

That would be ideal but I agree they rarely do what makes sense… I order my LR red/white on Jan 13th so hopefully I get it soon

I got an update today it was showing July 4 - August 15, as it was my previous order of a LR Red/White… Let’s see how many times it will change until I get a VIN

Just switched my order from LR to Performance… my LR white interior got pushed back many times and now to July 4 - August 15… Tesla switched my order but the delivery date hasn’t updated yet

No I didn’t have FSD .. I had on my first 2019 only

They were able to switch my order from to a Performance without having to pay another 250… waiting to update the delivery date.. still showing July 4 - August 15

My friend ordered his AWD Black/white a day before mine and he got a VIN yesterday with delivery May 3-9 mine AWD red/white still showing Jun 21-30 😒
