Fixed it! In the "Visual" menu where you can select which screen is active by default, you can actually select multiple so it shuffles through them. As it appears you can also select "Off" which shuts the display off after a few seconds. Unticked it and everything is fine again :)

It's the striker rattling in the latch. I've fixed it on a few cars by wrapping the striker with a bit of duct tape. Tesla Service does the same thing but with a different, fabric like tape

Wrap the strikers with duct tape. Folding/unfolding the seats may become a bit more difficult, but I’ve never heard mine squeak again.

Hi there, Since my Roadster had its service plug pulled for a week or 2, my Alpine unit turns its screen off after 3 seconds of inactivity. It doesn't shut down, because tapping the screen will bring it right back. I can't seem to find a setting related to this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh, I wasn't expecting that, given my PEM fan connector was replaced last year by Mars Orbiter. I only got error 1022 a few months ago, it wasn't directly after replacement of that connector. Anyway I took my PEM to his workshop 2 weeks ago so he could have a look at what might be causing the...

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I’m in the same boat, but in my case SoC doesn’t seem to make a difference. Any help is greatly appreciated since I don’t have DC charging on my Roadster!

Jammer! Hopelijk lossen ze het snel op... Bij de V2 CCS had je juist het probleem dat ze er zo lastig uit te trekken waren (voor de wat minder sterkere onder ons). V3 is wat dat betreft perfect, overigens ook een veel fijnere en handzamere greep+kabel, maar dat terzijde.

Ik was gisterenavond bij Akersloot en zag dat in ieder geval bij 2 V4 stalls de knopjes voor de laadpoort niet meer werkten. Bovendien was het plastic bij de knop ook gescheurd. Design flaw van de V4's of toeval/vandalisme?

This looks like a perforated seat to me. The side bolsters seem to be perforated, as well as the backrest, but not the upper left part. There's quite a bit of noise in the picture though. Lets hope for the best :) I really need ventilation for those hot summer days.

Look at my post from yesterday, it's not one cover. There are multiple plastic inserts, positioned within the shape of the alloy wheel. A lot better than the ugly Tempest wheels, where it gets even worse when taking off the cover (imo).

These are exactly the wheels leaked from the parts catalog. The so-called "Warp" wheels. Now we get to see them with the aero covers on, but once you take those off you get this:

Yeah it really felt like that to me. Granted it was a RWD and it had the 18" Aeros, but I've driven the old Model 3 in that config too and I never had a problem with it. I'm sure the LR on 19" is better, but I'll hold off until the Performance comes around.

The latter :) although it’s also equipped with active louvres, like any Tesla I believe (roadster excluded!). They’re just not that visible anymore like they were on the legacy Model S.

Yeah I was thinking of the aero as well, but to my surprise it still has air curtains. I spotted them on my last visit to the Tesla store. Anyways it could still be a combination of the suspension and aero, but I was pleasantly surprised to see these on the refresh!

Highland feels a lot less stable at higher speeds (100+ km/h). During my test drive on the highway I was constantly correcting its path. I did another test drive in a different car, and it was exactly the same. That was a RWD car by the way, however on my previous 2022 RWD I never had this...

Ik heb sinds gisteren last van extreme trillingen tijdens de eerste 2 minuten rijden in een S Plaid. Alsof je over een klinkerweg in een skelter, maar dan op glad asfalt. Het verdwijnt na 1 tot 2 minuten rijden en komt dan ook niet meer terug. Lijkt ook alleen te zijn als de auto een nacht...

I don’t see it either, however a friend of mine took delivery of a new Model 3 a few weeks ago, and it had the Mobile Connector. In the US you can select the mobile connector in the configurator, whereas it’s not an option in Europe. For the better, I believe!

Tesla still includes the Mobile Connector in Europe, even for new orders. It's probably a legal requirement, otherwise they would've done the same thing as in the US.

That VIN is some kind of dummy VIN, I can see it too on my order page, aside from my actual VIN. An actual Model S VIN should start with 5YJS instead of 5YJX

Waar geven ze dat aan dan? Op mijn factuur staat het volgende: “Betaalvoorwaarden: Volledig betaald, 7 dagen voor levering.” En ik mag ook hopen dat ze niet verwachten dat je a la minute 135k neertelt, dan hadden ze wel wat duidelijker mogen zijn wat betreft de levertijd.
