I wiggled the filter up and down, during the installation. It is snuggly attached. I have not changed the filter since then yet. I print mine in ABS so it is very unlikely that it would deform.

Just had a close scrub at 40mph on FSD at v12.3.6. Not the most pleasant sound, but luckily no rim damage, just rubber marks...

I'm pretty sure it will get to a point that it could, as it can read signs and road markings. I did not observe/nor look for a checkbox for that. It should be similar to "use HOV lanes" setting.

I did a thorough Koolit clean, and installed this clip. The clip definitely helps, as the car does not stink, and we're still in pacific northwest rain season... I highly recommend that clip and also started to include that in with my evaporator cleaner tool for Koolit. Adam did a great job...

It _might_ work, a) as long as it is securely attached to the filter b) thick enough. So far it has been 2-3 months smell-free, since installing that clip after a thorough KoolIt clean...
