yes that's what I will do. switch brands. because AP has indeed become worse since 2018 along with terrible wipers etc. And they removing stalks was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't care if they manage to get FSD working anymore either.

Can't you just return the plaid within the 30 days?

The speed data is all over the place and Tesla relies on both visual and map data and there's constantly some conflict between them. Can drive past temporary signs, and 50% of them get detected, then suddenly it increases to the map speed and vice versa. Some places it just drops to speed limits...

I had to stop using AP after the wipers dry wiped because it interprets the street lights as rain at night

If they find a problem, they might have to retrain, then it might fail some other place, then retrain again. They launch it in another region and it misbehaves there. Retrain again. I am not sure if they can get the robustness / safety balance right, but we'll see.
