How to fix Tesla Customer Service

Sorry but I just went to the service center for the 2nd time in over 6 years to get my computer upgraded for free thanks to FSD. Service was good, I test drove a Model 3 Highland, amazing and I found out they replaced my 12v for free and I was NOT having any issues. I do not know how they...

    Energy Sector News

What about offshore oil rigs, how do they do in a major hurricane? In 2005, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed a total of 113 platforms, - Oh they add to pollution. :)

Trump will end Biden's EV (tax credit) policies

But it would help some in cutting fossil fuel demand, and raise needed highway funds.

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

But here is the reality. If the new slimmed SuperCharger team deployed half the sites in the next 6 months as they did in the past 6 months would not Tesla still be the leader? I am not saying what Elon did was good in any way, but even with a hand behind their back I bet Tesla will still out...

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

Not a very effective way to encourage your employees to speak up. A certain amount of discussion should be expected and firing the entire team has likely done far more harm than good. While Elon is very good he has also made mistakes as in the Boreing Company and Solar Roof tiles.

This is why I went solar...

NE Tennessee here. We have net metering but the base montly charge has gove from $7.50 to $19.37 since I installed solar some 11 years ago. Still even at $19.37 to have access to a HUGE battery, 1700kWh in my case last year is worth 126 PowerWalls for example. Last year we ran out of credits...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Kind of like the CyberTruck and the new Roadster, or solar roof…. Remember prototypes are easy it is scaling that is hard.

    Elon take that strike back.

How long do strikes last? Forever?

Is it time to dump and run?

Speaking just for me as a LONG time Elon and Tesla fan, it seems to me he has lost his focus on sustainable transportation and is after the new shiny toys, like Twitter and FSD. Both may prove to be good long term bets, but I signed on for sustainable transportation and that no longer seems to...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

At what cost? Now that I am retired money is more critical than time. And I also do not like the high carbon footprint of flying.

Unless you live in a smaller town with virtually no connecting flights, and you are flying to a smaller town (650 miles distant) that is 2 hours from the closest airport. So add in a an hour to check in with security, another 1.5 hour with a transfer layover, and 3 hours to get a car and drive...

    Power quality issue: possible causes?

For what it is worth, to export power, your solar system NEEDS to have a higher voltage than the line. So my normal 247V is often 250 - 251V with the solar active. So it may be normal

Maybe it is my car or my city, but I am not sure I have gone more than 2 miles between interventions. I am not sure I could claim that is "very high" miles per intervention.

    Russia/Ukraine conflict

Slovakia and Chezch Republic. And we saw MANY single family homes as we covered over 700 miles seeing a lot of the countryside.

    Russia/Ukraine conflict

The Serbian war as he was caught in the crossfire between Muslim and Christian fractions. If you recall we bombed out large areas of their country in the late 1990’s.
