They have not recently purchased the lot next door, only applied for a permit to install a supercharger there. It is not owned by Tesla as of 1/21/24 when I searched property records.

Check with 247 Tesla on YouTube for weekly flyovers etc.

Not even LOL, it is a huge project. They are still working on the main building. I drove by the other day. None of the stalls seemed to be installed yet. I could really focused on details because I was driving.

Not too far from done though either. The main building is mostly complete and they just need to work interiors and they have already run conduits for the Supercharger cabinets and stalls. Still has at least a couple of months to go, but probably open sometime this summer.
Progress as of April 12th thanks to 247 Tesla's YouTube channel. The conduit was laid about a week prior to this and in this video it is getting covered with concrete.

Maybe the excavation will unearth another mammoth or dire wolf in the tar pits and Elon will make it a centerpiece of the restaurant as a monument to his superiority?!

Great progress captured by 247 Tesla on YouTube. Looks like Megapacks are on site and final grading is beginning for the main parking lot.
Am I the only one who thinks that this location is going to be so popular that they are going to have to eventually buy out or lease one or both of the industrial buildings on the corner between the two lots they are currently using?

I was absolutely thinking the same. It would be perfect if they can adquire that red building on the corner.
I drove by this building on the way to Netflix Is A Joke on Sunday. It looked small from the street... now I know this is because there's another lot connected to it by a small gap between the 2 other buildings. The red building really needs to go.

I know this is about a month late but following up on whether this is an expansion, it looks like some things have shifted location from the posted plans.
It looks like the termination of many conduits are behind the neighboring building on the other lot. It almost looks like there is room to drive through but on the most recent picture, the conduit they were covering in cement is completely buried so it is hard to tell if the sites are just connected for staging or if they will be connected long term.
