Model 3 Performance/Ludicrous Waiting Room

I enjoy looking at the tesla app that showed Est: June delivery, then when I opened it couple minutes later it switched to July delivery. SG/Blk interior 5/4 order and in NJ…

I’m going on a vacation in late July to early August to Canada. I bet that’s when my car will be delivered when I’m not home 100%.

With this sad news, I ordered the lvl 2 charger from tesla. I will have it installed and will just look at it like a piece of art.

Fake engine sounds are dumb, but I would be OK with augmenting the sound of the motors and inverters through the cabin speakers.

How freaking much is that? Damn, I thought I was going to eat it just on the Fenders, hood, and front bumper.

I’m not sure I would do the whole car at once. Would probably do it in sections.

I would love to not have to make the vroom sound myself every time I stomp the electron lever. Although, the sound of occupants gasping from the launch is a pretty good substitute as well!

While I’ll agree that I don’t want a fake engine noise most of the time, there have been times I’ve been in neighborhoods driving and I wish the kids or folks walking their dogs could hear me driving near. I’ve had to brake several times bc people just darted out bc they didn’t look. I’d rather a small engine noise alert them rather than me having to hit the horn politely (if that’s possible). The problem would be accessing whatever triggers the sound easily and on demand.

Does anyone know the difference between the repeater part of the HW3 and HW3.5 or 4 or whatever is on the newer model Ys? Here is a picture of the 2024 model 3 Performance passenger side repeater. I thought the newer ones had a different look to them. Can anyone verify? My brother has the Y, so I will ask him too.

I had a wall charger installed outside my garage last week, and it's also an expensive piece of yard art now too.

All cars being produced by Tesla are on HW4. So while there may be slight differences in the cosmetic look of it, all of the hardware and software are HW4.

Believe hardware 4 has a red appearance to it when you look in the lens. Like that. My 2023 M3P has hardware 4 too.

Funny how July EDD folks are now trying to switch from black interiors to white interiors to try and get their date moved up, but it's not working.

I considered it this morning too, but I figured it wouldn't move the EDD up and I didn't want my kids messing up white seats.
