20" Model X Rims on a Model S

Hello everyone,

I have a 2018 Model S, and I bough a set of black 20" Model X rims that I would like to put on it. When I spoke to service about this, they said it wouldn't work.

Does anyone have any first hand experience or knowledge on this topic? I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work once I put appropriate sized tires on them, but of course don't want to waste $1500 bucks doing so if they aren't going to work out in the end. I've seen some other places that seem to indicate that it works, but would like some direct advice on this.

Appreciate any help and input in advance!

They fit very well a lot of people run 245/40r20 in front and 275/35r20 in the rear. This set up effectively gives you the same diameter wheel/tire combo as the stock 19” wheel with 245/45r19 tires so no change is needed in the wheel config settings if previous wheel is 19”
