FYI: I took delivery yesterday, 4/27, and FSD transferred successfully 18hrs later to 2024 Model 3. My OD was 1/14/2024, EDD kept moving from 2/2024 to 6/2024. Took advantage of the Tesla X msg of honoring time-shifted customers from Q1.

Update: Took delivery yesterday, and FSD got transferred under 18 hours from accepting delivery. They had to go manual form for this transfer for me, but all worked out great. My 2018 M3 lost FSD the same time my new 2024 M3 gained it. Too bad summon is still not available for HW4 as it does...

Yeah, can't help but took an exit off freeway when I saw the nice low sun angle highlighting the issue. The undulation reminds me of a golf green than the rear deck of a Tesla Model 3 Highland...haha.

Picked up my M3-RWD today and got the same issue. In the grand scheme of things could be worse, but everything else is good during the delivery. Thanks for folks here calling out this issue, otherwise I won't know to check on this. TBH first sight I thought it was because of the 3rd brake...

Anyone here ordered in Q1 with Q1 EDD, but only got delivery in Q2 and was successful in getting their FSD transfer honored by Tesla? I am going back and forth with Tesla on this despite their own company's X msg stating that 'Any customer who had a timeline shift will be able to take advantage...

sounds like the auto brake lever kicking in on and off. i heard of this on my car before but very rarely, only during auto-pilot on surface street and when it is unsure to go or not at traffic light.

Go for it! You won't regret the extra range and better power and handling in bad weather. Plus your daily 80-90% recommended charge-to level will be of decent range. I have no regrets with my AWD LR.

Excellent idea to carry spare!! Got into a similar anxious situation as well (i.e. no working USB) and wishing I had a spare. Totally worth the extra cost for peace of mind.

Same for me where my insurance paid first while going after theirs. Parts was the longest wait for me, about 3 weeks, while actual repair took 2-3 days.

Had the same thought for a second, then thinking unless the software is also using the same 'inaccurate' stats to decides if car can continue or should shut down.
