Just updating here for reference - Tesla replaced LDU under drive unit warranty. They finished in under 48 hours so they must have remanufactured LDUs on hand. I got the '1025598-01-U' spec LDU.

"e" Primacy must be new, it doesn't show on Michelin's website. I just finished running a set of regular Primacy MXM4s and was unimpressed. Efficiency was lower than non "EV Ready" tires I have run before and since and they got very noisy right around 9k miles before giving up at 12k.

Has anyone with a Model S actually successfully completed a BMS reset?!?!

I don't have any errors, however, I believe my BMS may have drifted after 52k miles. My rated range has been inconsistent / lower than it used to be so I would like to reset.

Hello, I am about to replace my 12V battery and I believe you have to disconnect the fireman's loop to do that. Wouldn't that open the contactors and has anyone tried resetting the BMS after disconnecting the fireman's loop?

I have the x7201 on my 2020 S, and instructions did not say to reinstall the reinforcement bar. However, I frequently move kids in the third row so I did go ahead and reinstall my reinforcement bar (for added protection) and it fit right up without any problems.

I have been towing with my Tesla this past year. I have a tow truck, but when its unavailable the Tesla is my backup tow vehicle. The only place the hitch scrapes is on my driveway, and my S is lowered with links (air suspension) to start with.

Agree, the widebody of the refresh is very good looking. Even the older S's, if you lower them just right and put nicer wheels on them with the right offset, they look very good. Long, low, quiet, fast - all the right ingredients of a great family sedan.

This worked. I formatted the USB drive on PC and created a "TeslaCam" folder and then inserted into car. It works and sentry mode and dashcam are both now operational. Thank you everyone.

Great report OP, thanks for sharing. I live in DFW area and frequently drive to Houston. Keep in mind the winds are a major factor near Houston. There is almost always a 12-15 mph headwind as you head south towards Houston and that same wind becomes a tailwind on your way back.

I got these "car mats customs" mats recently. $150 for pair of fronts. Fitment and coverage are excellent. Definitely will not be as durable as weathertechs or spiders but changes it up for a bit. P.S: I take no accountability for what's playing on radio, its my wife's car! :p

My CS ran 265 front on a 19 inch wheel and 285 rear on a 20 inch wheel. The 763M wheels look pretty awesome. Refresh cars with wider track should definitely get the 763 and they are even lighter than the 437s!

Unintended side benefit of these wheels: SUPER EASY to clean. Almost entire barrel is easily accessible.

There is a reason carvana is very rapidly going out of business. If I am trading in an S for another S/X and the transaction value is high, its a wash between tesla offer and carmax offer once you factor in sales tax savings.
