I think it would be a good idea to have a thread to collect the sites that have WiFi so people could look for a site on their route to get updates or stream while charging for those w/o premium connectivity. Can we make this a wiki that gets updated with new info?

SCI was cloned by another guy to make FastCharger.info so it's possible the source code is out there

If the robot is out at night we are looking at prime crime time, and as you said, might scare people. Seems like it would be better to use the early mornings to spiff up the site for another busy day, this way if needed people can see it running from potential thieves and call 911.

These could easily be periodic maintenance, I spoke to one of the guys who said each cable has a MTBF so they will replace the cable when it crosses a threshold, perhaps they wait for two to cross before sending a guy out

It's V4, I thought all V4s had adapters built in but there has only been one V4 opened to the public for CCS charging near me in Northern California

You are forgetting about xenophobia, there is lots of places on the planet where the residents Don't Want people from outside to come in and the kids are not reproducing, 'cause it's icky, so these places could really use more workers, including the kind you plug in.

Well, it's been a week or two since this thread came up, surprising nothing ever came of it

Two problems: 1) Tesla changed the API and no one seems to be doing work on it as a hobbiest, which is what I based my original app on. 2) My app talks to the car and changes it's rate, I have no code experience with the chargers. I am learning how to program things in Home Assistant now...

They do offer a pretty cheap service for this issue, but all I did to stop the noise was rotate the ball on the top of the suspension and the noise went away. I tried injecting grease into it first, but rotating it did the trick on my 2018 TM3. Not my video

That's EXACTLY the sorta *sugar* I was thinking I'd do when I got my Cybertruck, or do Baja or Alaska, so of course I got a Model X with FUSC instead. It does have light hail damage from the previous owner so a little adventure. But probably never going to do any of those things now.

That is the most expensive (Tesla towable) trailer on the planet. Would be nice, but very hard to justify.
