I just laid a 40 lb bag of wood pellets on top of my hatch, and drove down my side street a short distance. There was no change to the low rumbling I hear, which to me confirms that the noise is coming into cabin by other sources than the hatch. -

I just spent 1 1/2 hours to go get the 5/16 OD tubing and installed it per 'Ilikecoffee'. Readjusted the hatch stops using masking tape to assure contact, and it made no difference at all. I've now spent over 15 hours trying to fix this. If I could sue to get out of my lease I would. My Model... -
