MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

It’s not protective film. This could either be a newer version of the center console for Highland or it really could be the console for Juniper.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

The current financing incentive is very attractive, especially in today's economy. This will leave people contemplating if they should get the current Y or wait for the refresh. If you're happy with what the current Y offers then it's a no brainer to order now and lock in 0.99%. If you choose...

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

I have this tweet saved that summarizes the updates for highland. We should receive the same amount of updates, and maybe more, for Juniper

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

True, there have been incremental changes, but if a major rehaul is potentially less than 12 months away and you don't need a vehicle right now then it makes sense to wait.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

If someone doesn't need a vehicle right now and plans to keep their next vehicle for a long time, why not wait for the most recently updated model before purchasing? It's not like Tesla refreshes the Model Y every year.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

This would make sense if they were creating a new version of the Y from the ground up, but this is going to be a refresh. They'll be using existing parts from the already refreshed 3 for Juniper.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

For all the reasons listed in the tweet below. We can expect the same updates plus more for Juniper.

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

If we take a look at the pricing for Highland, we should see something similar for Juniper. Plus, Juniper is supposed to be more cost effective to product for Tesla. Pricing shouldn't change much if at all. As for people holding out, I'm sure there's a good amount of them considering the Q1...

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

Juniper is definitely releasing in North America by Q1-Q2 2025. Tesla is aware of the fact that people are holding out for the refresh, especially after seeing the refreshed 3. They even had to release a statement stating that there was "no Model Y refresh coming this year to North America" due...

Tesla: Highlights from our upcoming Spring Release below

My CR-V's software was updated to a much better looking UI a year after I purchased mine and the only I could get the new UI was to buy another CR-V. Doesn't make sense why we would expect Tesla to retrofit our infotainment systems. We purchased the vehicles knowing what we're getting at the...

Tesla: Highlights from our upcoming Spring Release below

Imo the best changes are the updated playback controls and Spotify improvements.

    Ventilated seats Highland

Ford uses the HVAC to cool the seats. The advantage to this is not having to wait for the car to cool down before cold air can be provided to the seats. This also work well when you're driving with the windows down as it doesn't matter what the interior temperature is.

    Ventilated seats Highland

Tesla uses ventilated seats, not cooled seats. My current vehicle has cooled seats which actually has a dedicated duct to the seat to provide cold air from the A/C. Tesla's ventilated seats just bring in the ambient air to cool down the seats.

Downgraded Audio? Might want to let buyers know [rwd vs awd]

7 speakers and no subwoofer in a $45k vehicle is hilarious.

    Model Y Nitpick Thread

Lack of ventilated seats is a big one for me.
  16. M

BTW big changes in 2024 Model Y vs 2023 earlier Model Y

The 2025 model will have even bigger changes with the refresh.

    Your M3H 'Stalkless' Driving Experience....

Makes sense. I can see why hitting a stalk up/down is much easier than trying to push a button on a tilted steering wheel in those scenarios.

    Your M3H 'Stalkless' Driving Experience....

Do people normally indicate after turning their wheel? I indicate and then begin my turn. I don't remember the last time I needed to indicate when my wheel was turned.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The stalk removal is definitely a hot topic. Personally, I don't care, but I know lots do. For me though, after seeing the amount of upgrades in the refreshed 3 vs the previous gen, it justifies the wait for the refreshed Y.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I wonder how many people are waiting for the refreshed Y, especially after seeing the refreshed 3. I, for one, am in the market for a vehicle and want a Y but am waiting for the refresh.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Sounds like it'll be 2.9s with faster acceleration at the top end

MY 2024 Refresh - Project Juniper?

Have their been any updates on the status of Juniper? I've heard mixed things, from no refresh this year to pilot production starting in China later this year with a NA launch Q1 2025. I'm in the market for a vehicle but am holding off for the refresh.

21 to 24 lr. Worth it?

I'd wait for the refresh which should be here by early next year.
  25. M

Replacing Llumar CTX tint with Llumar Stratos worth it?

Yes. So the IRX would block more heat.

Replacing Llumar CTX tint with Llumar Stratos worth it?

Llumar CTX only blocks UV rays while the Llumar ITX(Stratos) blocks UV rays and Infared. Llumar ITX would be bette for your enviornment.
