The Order Agreement says to take delivery within 7 days of the “Ready Date” so there should be some room. Especially given all the delays on their side with getting the cars registered

Nope hasn't changed. Usually you're able to tax it the day you collect/day after as the system is updated with the correct details. I've always only gotten the details needed to tax the car upon collection (other brands - not Tesla)

It was a custom order so no listing to refer to and no mark down. As long as the car is in as new condition and hasn’t got high mileage on it then it’ll be fine. If I didn’t know I could check the shipment of the VIN I would have been none the wiser. Tesla confirmed car is in the country so...
