My 2020 S has had a slight squeak at 23 MPH ever since I got the car in August 23 from Tesla. They said it was too soft to address. I had the brakes cleaned and lubricated but the squeak still is there. I guess I will need to live with it.

Tesla told me a wall charger would use less juice than the mobile charger which I am using. Is that true, and how much difference would it make? Peter

My 2020 S seems to lose quite a bit of charge while being parked. It may almost be as much as I use from driving it. Everything appears to be turned off on the vehicle

That was not the case for me. One strike went off in the next month.

Maintenance for my 2020 S is showing replacement of the HEPA filter. The car has 30000 miles and had 25000 when I got it 6 months ago from Tesla. The cost is almost $400.00. How often should the filter be replaced, and why is is so expensive? Peter

I didn't bargain for FSD or even auto pilot when I got my 2020 S. I didn't even know about it. It is rather amazing and fun but not sure that I really need it.

I had my hand on the wheel and FSD disconnected with the red flag.

I had to hit the brakes while in FSD to avoid a collision with a car that cut in front. Not sure if FSD would have picked it up.

I got an unjustified FSD disconnect in trial mode. If I get two more I no longer can use it. If that happens after you have subscribed you wasted your money.

I had mine done after I hit a curb, although there was no obvious problem....cost $230.00 here. Is there a service center there?

FSD is very impressive, but it does not recognize the 25 MPH speed limit at school zones, and the speed posting on curves in the road. It could get you a citation for speeding in a school zone. Peter

Tesla uses its own device to do wheel alignments which is not available at a general tire shop. You should have it done by Tesla. Peter

I put 5000 miles on my 2020 S which I got used with new tires......no appreciable wear shows. Peter

Fsd is good. I probably will go for the $100 per month. Not sure about $3100 for just two years.

How much was the extended warranty?

I never used it before. Pretty impressive. It drove a 15 mile trip from my outlying town to the center of another one without any problems.

I have had a problem with my S hitting potholes and driveways. I have had to repeatedly set the suspension back to very high. It was reset with an upgrade.

Thanks to a gift of a month's FSD from Tesla I tried it for the first time....quite impressive. It was going over the posted speed limit though. It was set on "Standard". It should go at the speed limit. How do you set that?

Even with the backup camera a chime notification of an approaching vehicle or object is useful. My 2016 Chrysler Town and Country does that and has a backup camera.

How do you tell Tesla that they need to add rear collision avoidance? My 2016 Chrysler Town & Country has that. Front collision avoidance works fine and they should be able to easily add that to the rear. Peter

I do not have an interior camera on my 2020 S but still find that I get warnings immediately after engaging auto pilot.

Do the two existing ones ever go away?

The warnings seem to occur mostly on straight stretches of road although I am torking the wheel. I got 2 forced disengagements recently that way and I'm waiting for the third one.

I had my second forced autopilot disengagement today within a few days although I had my hand on the wheel. I understand the current update permits 3 and then no autopilot for a week. When does it reset to zero again? Peter

That's rather poor answer. Accidents have happened even with warnings. If true I am quite surprised Tesla does not provide this feature, given all the cameras and sensors.

My S does not give a warning when in reverse and another vehicle is approaching. My Chrysler Town & Country does a lot better. Am I missing something?

I don't understand the point of a Plaid for an average driver? My 2020 S for which I paid $55000 with 25000 miles on it has more power than I ever use.

I am not getting an audible alarm when backing up and an object is in proximity or approaching the car. My Chrysler minivan does that fine. Peter

I had a vibration issue which went away...either calibration or an update.

They are the same. Schedule is not followed.

Our peak rates are from 4 to 9 pm. I set the car schedule to start at 9 PM. When I plug it during peak hours it still charges. Peter

I would rate autopilot as 80% self driving.

My 2020 model S only has one vacant USB port in the center compartment. I put some of my own recorded music on the USB drive but it was erased by the dash cam. Can I have a drive for music and the dashcam at the same time? Peter

I am getting an occasional shudder with regenerative breaking on my 2020 S. It is not reproducible. What is the significance of that?

I was curious about trying it instead of autopilot, which really is not bad with autosteer and adaptive cruise control, but will save my money! The main problem is that is slows down way to much for bicyclists on the side of the road. Peter

I am getting occasional shuddering on my S just with regenerative breaking and no use of the brakes.
