True. Remember though that with the round wheel retro Tesla gave the round wheel airbag free and took the yoke airbag back. We will see if they will discount for the same reason with the seats.

It probably was based off the old prices. But the new ones won’t be cheaper. Maybe the same at best. I wonder if a retrofit would swap airbags which may save some costs. Time will tell. More than likely this won’t be worth the cost and won’t be anywhere near as good as an old track...

I’ve been told $3,500 for each front seat which would be $7,000. I haven’t priced the new rears yet.

Clearly they are mistaken. I’ve installed 3 of these now in 2021 and 2022 models. When the Northern California eBay seller had these for $200 it was the best deal. They were brand new screens.

Steering angle sensor needs to be reset (after a proper alignment). This can be achieve in the service menu.

I had a clunk. Turned out the drivers front brake line mounting bolt was missing casing the line and metal mounting brace to be flopping around and into anything in its way.

I installed the new rear screen myself for less then $200 out of pocket. Waiting for the holiday update now !

In low your camber would be greater than -2 degrees as is. This is where camber arms would allow you complete adjustability. Any alignment should be preformed in the height you normally will drive in. No need to go into service mode. Just put the suspension in the height you normally...

was this measured in low ? Thats a lot of camber in low if you have adjustable arms.

If you are -1 rear camber in medium you would more than likely be approaching -2.5+ in low and even more excessive tow out (approaching negative toe) in the rear in low.

The newer pads a a tad bit better I am told. Flushing out the dot 3 brake fluid and replacing with dot 4 makes a bigger difference. Since 1/11/2023 builds, all S and X plaids have been switched to dot 4 factory fill.

This is normal. The front left will sit a wee bit lower because of you in it. Wearing though harnesses is NOT normal though and the harness should be routed away from wheels/tires and suspension components.

You mean knuckles. Pre 3/2002 builds needed new knuckles for clearance of the bigger rotors and calipers.

True. I used lowering links to actually even get the car to sit about .75” lower to so in half shaft life. Adjustable rear camber arms were then installed and a alignemwnt while the vehicle was in low per N2itive specs. Handles and looks great and tire wear hadn’t been an issue.

Will go into low at highway speeds. You can manually keep raising it back to medium.

They aren’t light and they was a surprise. But they are built to handle track conditions where they absolutely don’t want failures. Track wheels aren’t light. Look at BBS weights.

Finally got someone to weigh the Zero G track pack 20” wheels and tires. 59.5lb - front 62.5lb - rear That would then translate to: Front wheel weighs 29.5 lbs (tire is 30 lbs.) Rear wheel weighs 33.5 lbs (tire is 29 lbs.)

Once the suspension drops for medium to low your camber likely will be in the -2 degree range and your toe will be close to 0 degrees and potentially even negative. Certainly upon acceleration the rear toe will go negative and that is what scrubs that rear tread to sidewall area. Have it...

The rear settings look perfect BUT what height was this measured and adjusted at? If not at the height you normally drive in (ie measured in medium and driven in low mainly) then the measured alignment and adjustments are all for not.

Has your service center installed any Track Packs however? Or are they pushing every potential track packer off? If so no experience is being gained.

Did they do an alignment and reset all height values. If you had links this makes your links at the length set the same height as having no links.

Too much negative toe. I don’t think your year has any adjustment on the toe arms so you’d have to install aftermarket toe arms. Would pay off quickly as the return on investment pays off quick with such expensive tires that don’t last many miles.
