Where are you seeing that? I thought that was a brief "bug" where the climate screen from the X/S was shown (which does have vented seats). I can't see anything in the current M3 manual: Model 3 Owner's Manual | Tesla

Could also just be nobody in the queue for that particular combo in WA, as unlikely as that might be. It's an RWD with 19" wheels which isn't the default 18". FWIW my SA contacted me saying they have a cancellation and do I want it, I don't believe it ever appeared in existing inventory.

It’s January! Start keeping an eye out for those hidden VINs. While I love my car and it’s been fun driving around, and wouldn’t give up my early delivery, I kinda miss that I won’t have the full hidden vin / ship tracking experience. Maybe the next car!

Yeah, definitely just the last dregs of Q4 orders. Anything over 250km from the delivery centre should be eligible for a home delivery. Given how low touch the delivery process is I don’t think there’s much disadvantage?

I forgot people are in different states! Yeah, in NSW I got a NSW "Application for Registration" form to sign (via Tesla's electronic signature platform) the day I ordered. Just had to fill in my address, and sign, but there were no vehicle details because a vehicle hasn't been allocated yet.

Both the app and account show the same. They both did the first day as well, before it disappeared.

My Tesla app / account page is showing an estimate again after disappearing the day after ordering! It’s 8-12 weeks though, just like it was when I ordered. Not unexpected, as realistically it’s 8-12 weeks from now not 4 weeks ago.

Presumably Veda knows that ship they’re on, if you know that you can track it with any of the free marine tracking sites. Probably not many car carriers headed for Port Kembla leaving Shanghai in the last few days, you might be able to work it out yourself.

Lots of people already have unicorns (most SR+ delivered this quarter), there's no new MCU in them as far as I am aware. It's _possible_ Q1 cars could have them, but I doubt we'll know until the first of those get delivered.

While they're all LRs, you've both got different interior colours, and I've got a different exterior colour, so it'll be interesting to see if they get produced in a different order than we ordered.
