@adamek
Something happened over night on ours too. This morning the door was fully open and not half closed on the charging cable. Must have pushed an update to the cars...?
Just tried to charge the wife's 2021 SRP...door opens when I push the button on charging cable but tries to immediately close. When I am quick enough to plug the car in it tries to close on the charging cable.
Sent a video to Tesla and have an appointment for the 18th. Hopefully they will...
One of our M3's is a 2021 with LFP and according to Tesla wants to be and should be charged to 100% as much as possible. We plug in to 100% every night and the degradation is better/less than our M3 Long Range non LFP.
Does this average account for cars with LFP Batteries? Surely the different batteries have a different "Original Capacity". One of ours is a 2021 SRP with LFP and I have a feeling this “average” is off. I hate that I am relying on a number that may be incorrect. What's the point?
This car has...
I thought mine wasn't working so set up an appointment. They did a remote diagnosis and said its working fine...I'd go that route before you pay anything.
We might be related LOL. This might be interesting to you...
Now that we have 2 Tesla's and I got rid of my BMW SUV I need something for weekends in the mountains with the dogs and Home Depot runs etc. I tried and tried to find a low milage used Forester priced right but couldn't.
I ended...
A lot of older cars are better maintained and have owners who are aware of the "warning signs" for things like this happening. This has NOTHING to do with it being a Tesla...
I've heard of many who hit 200k. I personally have no doubt the battery will last as long as they say but the question is really what will your max range be at that point. I'm sure there will be a lot of daily use "city commuter" Teslas rolling around in about 10 years.
8 years 120,000 mile...
Haha...I'm guessing it's like lumber when they say dimensions are "nominal". A 2x4 is really 1-1/2 x 3-1/2. Now we just need Tesla to publish their "nominal" chart. o_O
Yeah thinking about mine...In 15 months I've used a SuperCharger 3 times and rarely ever charge over 90% I'm guessing I'm more 4.3% than 9.2% based on everything I read. Thx for your data point.
Yeah that helps. I will leave at default 77.8 and stay blissful with the rest LOL.
I'm under a trial and although it's a better deal with 2 cars don't think I will keep the app. Tempted to just do the $200 lifetime but...who knows what the "lifetime" of the App will be...then what.
Thanks...
That's is my point...I don't want to use the fleet averages just because it makes it look better. My range hasn't changed in months so I think whatever the degradation is 4.3 or 9.2 it has completely stabilized after 15months. I read a lot that the average Tesla battery degradation is about...
Not at all. I just want to know which number to put in Tessie. 77.8 as it auto populates/recommends or what I believe the battery was 82 kWh.
As I said I just want accurate information not one that makes me feel good and "in line with everyone else"...if it's wrong.
I searched but couldn't find this answer....sorry if it is a FAQ.
Tessie says my 2022 M3 LR "Original Capacity" is 77.8 based on averages of other similar configs. Why shouldn't I change it to 82 kWh which is what I believe the batter was?
At 77.8 it shows 4.3% degradation but at 82 it is...
Charging periodically to 90% or even (God forbid) 100% gives you even more options. From Tesla...
For AWD vehicles: keep the full charge limit of the battery to under 90% for Daily use. If you need 100% of your battery for a long-distance trip, increase the limit for Trip as needed.
Time for new friends...after you send them a link to Tesla Super Charger locations! But there is no doubt it will take longer.
37 hours according to this....for example Denver to Naples. Google maps shows 29 or 30 hours with ICE...
Had similar Tesla unable to find car about a year ago on our 2021 SRP. 2 finger reboot...never happened again. Probably different than your issue but...
YMMV
We had it after about a year or so on our 2021 SRP and airfilter fixed it immediately. I have a 2022 LR M3 that's 15 months old and no smell same filter.
YMMV.
My 2022 LR M3 came with obviously. My wife drove mine for a week and got use to it so I paid the $300 on her 2001 SRP ($39,900) and got the wheel and back seats...🤬
I'm guessing it may have to do with what the current MSRP is if they "include" things?
I think he was on his phone and didn't see traffic stopping so instead of rear ending him he just changed lanes. Since he crossed double line he was in the wrong. He admitted but the police officer was still very interested in seeing the dash cam.
