    I'd recommend inspecting your speed sensor for coolant independently and then report to Tesla according. Tesla could also inspect but will likely charge you. It's really easy to check yourself.

    Also, remember that if you currently have a coolant leak, simply slapping on an aftermarket coolant delete product will not solve any existing coolant leak issue. Any existing coolant leak will need to be mitigated. especially if coolant has reached the inverter.

    You're right. However if coolant has made it's way to the inverter, then that needs to be resolved before slapping on these aftermarket coolant delete products.

    To address your question on what Tesla would do - I know of two cases where Tesla sold 60 owners 85 packs for $15k reman and $20k new. Then that pack would be corked to 60. If owner wanted to uncork, Tesla charges $750/5 kWh.

My only knowledgeable recommendation is what I paid Tesla $6k recently for - new U version coolant bypass that still has the flyover tube. $6k is about what a 3rd party will charge for rebuilt LDU with their version of coolant delete.     Main concern I would have is elimination of flyover tube causing air pocket in gear box. There's a reason Tesla kept the flyover tube in the U version I recently had installed.

    Remember that you are currently past 8 years, there is no warranty on the replacement Tesla just installed. Also, did Tesla replace with a reman or new?

    You could ask Tesla to check out and unless there are any alerts, you'll be charged a disagnostics fee. Even, then there's no guarantees you'll have any out of warranty issue. It's a crap shoot.
