70% voted yes last time With 3.19B shares outstanding a similar vote percentage means the no vote (30%) equates to 957M shares. Idiot Leo voting no on 27M shares equates to 0.8% of shares outstanding and only 2.8% of the total no vote assuming the same percentage of people vote yes/no.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics. Hilarious you use incorporation statistics to back your opinion. It has zero relevance as to why Tesla is trying to move. Illogical vote against the move. What a fail.

FSD is coming to the cybertruck in a few months. Even if you place a Foundation order today, you won't see it until q4 this year which will likely be after fsd has been enabled.

For orders within May the delivery date went from july-sept to oct-dec. Pretty simple leap of faith that foundation models will be sold out this year. Non-foundation series won't happen until 2025. Maybe not until q2, but that's me pulling a number out of thin air

Lot of fear mongering with the CT. Zero factual basis for it. They're up to 1,400 weekly runrate on CTs and 100% are foundation series. As an investor I don't see why you would want them to switch away from foundation series CTs that are earning an extra $20k per vehicle. Tesla should sell every...

It may seem so, but a significant number of shares can be traded on the close (market on close or limit on close) Here's a data point: 666M shares were traded with a high low range of 22 (10% fluctuation). From open to close the difference was $9 (a 4% change) Overall the price movement in...

It's interesting that we aren't seeing any real news to explain the price movement. Decent volume spike with it too. Maybe just a large fund deciding to grow their stake

This is consistent with 90% of sales in 2023 were to first time Tesla customers. I come across this all the time where people are first time buyers of teslas and completely oblivious to so much of the minutiae we pore over here.

@grok In 2023, Tesla reported that about 90% of their vehicle buyers were new to the Tesla brand. This indicates a significant influx of first-time Tesla owners in that year.

0 chance in the next decade for robotaxi? I'm definitely betting against that premise. Reading your entire post I can see why you've sold your tesla holdings as you see them as a failing auto company with software that will never achieve what Elon aspires it to become. But sure call it hype...

Regarding the use of lidar to verify ground truth data Elon mentions they don't need them for even that anymore. Wonder if they're using them for anything at all or if he's saying they no longer need them period. Sounds like they're making good headway finally with FSD

That's a massive capital cost. What Tesla will do (they've explicitly stated this) is have a portion of the fleet owned and operated by Tesla, but the vast majority of robotaxis will be owned by other people. Tesla will still generate subscription and rev share from RT. This is probably why...
