In reality, it's more like 1 OR 11 weeks. If you are lucky, and order a configuration that is not allocated to an order and are close enough to California that it can be delivered by the end of the month, you could have it in a week. Otherwise, you're looking at September.

In Canada, it's pretty well documented that if you order a M3P, it will arrive in the last two weeks to the quarter, regardless of when you ordered.

I highly doubt it. Usually, the appointments are set before the cars even arrive. My car had barely left Fremont when I got my appointment. Some people have had success moving their delivery up if the car arrives earlier.

I have that same coverage. No chip though, just an extra $65/year, waived depreciation for 5 years. Insurer is Gore Mutual in Ontario.

In Canada, financing approval is valid for 90 days, so no issues there. I made sure to apply within 90 days of June 30th to avoid any problems. I have no additional payment to make. Rates are so low, I chose to finance the entire amount (aside from the $2500 order payment I paid in late March)

Not 100% correct. If you take delivery with 30 days of financing approval, the rate you had at approval stands.

Comparing with Q1 orders, I'd say they're actually moving faster, at least for us Canadians. There were quite a few people last quarter with mid-month builds and cars arriving on the last 3 days of the month.
