Had my first serious safety disengagement on V12. The car just wanted to just go across that flat median, ignoring all the white lines from the left lane exiting the roundabout

Really starting to get sick of V12 ignoring user input on speed and minimal lane changes. I fear we are going to keep losing control over FSD in pursuit of autonomy that is 5+years away. So many disengagements and interventions on V12 because of this compared to V11.

I have noticed no real difference. I don't think there will be any large behavior changes until we get 12.4.

FSD is just starting to annoy the crap out of me - the crazy acceleration followed by immediate Regen, slow speeds requiring the need to work the throttle, ignoring lane boundaries, and indecision over lane choices are all frustrating. Looking forward to the next update that hopefully fixes it.

V12 is definitely better than V11 but way less predictable which I don't like. Same route I took yesterday with zero disengagements has 4 today, including it jumping into a turn lane which has never happened before.

They will have a steering wheel-less prototype with an ambiguous release date like the Cybertruck and Roadster for an unsupervised car. I really hope they release a compact for normal use though since as a single guy living in a city I rarely if ever even need the full size of the M3 I'm...

I'm also kinda nervous that they are going to get rid of minimize lane changes too to "fix the problem of user input" , which will make parts of my commute useless on FSD.

It's not as good. Manual speed is just auto speed except you set the cap. There are occasions where it goes way under what I have it set and I need to goose the throttle some to get it up to speed. Overall speed control, acceleration, braking, and lane center are seemingly was worse on V12...

I'm almost certain NHTSA is going to ban auto speed in its current form as a driver assist. It is aggressive now Fully take responsibility for this but almost certainly expecting a speed camera ticket in the mail soonish haha. 45 in a 30 is excessive. Switched to manual control which feels better.

The acceleration and braking for sure are giving me motion sickness on V12. If be fine with a harsh acceleration if it wasn't met by braking once it gets to speed. Can be nauseating. Also the braking feels even more unnatural on 12.3.3. V11 braking seemed a bit better. For sure am not seeing...

There's still some issues with that especially on curves. Someone I was driving with today was concerned how far to the right it was on a curved highway ramp today. I generally think being centered should be the default in most cases. Should be easy to train.
