    Autopark?

I have FSD and a 2022 MYLR so I reckon it still has it's SSs enabled? And haven't detected any parking functions in any parking lots, Costco, Walmart, College, Hospital, etc.

Abrupt Phantom Breaking at high speed - scary

Given the ghosts that appear when my Y is parked in my carport, (semi's, pedestrians, motorcycles, etc.), I suspect it likely phantom brakes, even parked. But if it is in 'P', it's a little hard to tell. I know for sure it will phantom brake driving with absolutely everything possible turned...

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

So much ranting about Tesla communications, decisions and the effect on employees. It's pretty much baseless without direct knowledge of an enormous amount of facts. There is so much FUD directed at Tesla from the industries and competitors that Tesla is disrupting, I hate to see more piled...

One thing that makes me uncomfortable with FSD or autopilot

And for an optical illusion, it makes a lot of noise while it's rashing your wheels against the curb.

    Tesla ADAS Incident Reports

Yes but we were less stupid then. Currently 42% of us can't find our way home without a gps. If that reaches 100% before Elon colonizes Mars, humanity is surely finished.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

The reason for double yellow solid lines is because passing is unsafe. So I will sit behind the cyclist until they get off the road and stop so I can pass without getting out of my lane, or until either they or I get to our respective destination. Assuming we don't get killed by some fool...

Where are the new fsd versions?

That reminds me of when I hired a programmer, (around 40 years ago), he was one of those folks who thought he was the smartest person on planet earth. His first day he started in writing a program and called me over to explain to me what he was doing. "This is the compiler that I use. It is...

Where are the new fsd versions?

I learned early on, if it isn't broke, don't try to fix it. Medical doctors have a motto of; First, Do No Harm. It makes more sense if you understand, writing a computer program is very much like write a story for a book. The story simply expresses what you want the computer to do and the...

Does FSD V12 work in rain ? What are you experiences

Clear liquid drops falling from the sky. Assumed to be water, (Chem: H2O), but considering the state of the world and Tesla in particular, anything is possible. . . . . . . . . . .

Does FSD V12 work in rain ? What are you experiences

With HD3 v12.3.6, went around 50 miles 50/50 highway / city, yesterday in mild overcast, then medium rain. Everything went well and rain or overcast didn't seem to be any problem. Wipers responded appropriately from clear => few sprinkles => serious rain, no slow-downs or other oddities.

FSD v12.3.3 - Single vs Double Pull option for stalk

It appears that "single pull" is here to stay for a while and enough complaints have been logged, if it were easily solved, surely it would have been. I suggest that the fact that city is NN end to end and highway is still on heuristic code may be involved with this, and trying to force NN code...

Done giving Tesla the benefit of the doubt on Autopilot and adaptive cruise control- it's JUNK.

I used to get those and generally it hadn't done anything except beep the warning. I always felt they were a variation on phantom braking, suddenly realizing it was not in it's lane or there was a shadow or a skid mark, response. About once in twenty of those, it would actually turn the...

    Can FSD hallucinate?

My Tesla routinely hallucinates semi's while parked in my carport, which doesn't really bother me and certainly isn't a safety hazard. But seeing people walking around in a grave yard that normal humans can't see, not so much. I can picture it easily turning into a safety hazard as people...

    FSDS 12.2.3/4 Safety Interventions

Thesis and Poll - Long TSLA Short auto insurance

Mine was $75 / month and my SS was 100%. Until I went to Burger King on an exceptionally slow day and waited in line for 45 minutes. SS went to 80 something for "following to closely". Premium went to $130 and eventually $150. I don't eat at Burger King any more and SS is now 100%, so...
