    2022 Model S Base versus 2024 Model 3 LR

I would go with the model s, longer range and better looking.

    Model S battery not charging

MOT is like a state safety inspection, luckily OPs battery is still under warranty and a battery fault would be in their best interest.

Yeah they became a thing with the 23 model year. You don’t. It’s been standard on plaids since 2023 model year. So 2022 would not have it.

That’s what I have and I love it. Very classy looking. However, with the silver color, I’d go with the black interior.

Terrible service experience, why my 2023 Model S is a regrettable purchase

I cross shopped, I test drove a Taycan turbo, Taycan GTS and a BMW i7 Loved them all, each one had its own thing that I loved. The turbo and gts handled so well through the twisty roads, the fit and finish was perfect and I loved the suede interior. The i7 was what I imagine a rolls Royce to...

Terrible service experience, why my 2023 Model S is a regrettable purchase

I will not stand by as you disparage the good name of Bayerische Motoren Werke, and when I’m done cleaning up yet another oil leak off my driveway, I’ll tell you exactly why you’re wrong! “Duped” “defrauded” lol. Just come right out and say you have a personal beef with musk. I’m far from a...

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Why did you throw the shims away? Did it not correct the issue?

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

From post #67 You can see the edges severely worn, I don’t think that happens overnight.

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

Swapped out the stock 21in wheels for the 20in Martian wheels Looks way better than I expected. I also decided not to install the Macsboost shims yet, when I got the stock wheels off, there’s was absolutely no irregular wear on the edges. The tires look perfect after 4.3k miles

I thought the button turn signals was going to annoy the heck out of me but as a former/current bmw driver, I can honestly say it didn’t take long for me to learn to not use them. /s

Didn’t the headlight/tail light revision happen in March 2022? The UR was 2023 I’d say go for it now, you like the car, you like what it offers, why wait.

Well then it’s settled I’ll do the alignment.

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

I understand what you’re saying but according to the manufacturer, the shims are just thick enough to not cause over correction. I’ll take the risk and listen to them. If I’m wrong I’ll definitely report back as well as let the manufacturer know so that they don’t false advertise.

Plaid 21” rear tire woes - factory defect?

I don’t believe it’s necessary so I won’t, but if it feels like I’m having an alignment issue or seeing irregular wear then I’ll do it and contact macsboost and let them know about it
