Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

That could be due to the way they were tied down on the ship. I've seen it before.

Your Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Trial starts now!

Me too. It was fun to try and to entertain non Tesla friends. The FSD and Autopark are too cautious for most drivers nearby. Now I absolutely love Autopilot and always use it on every highway drive. It works always perfectly.

Your Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Trial starts now!

I have a '23 Model Y in Canada. Just got the trial last night and have been using it all day. It works great except for one highway merge lane where it won't signal the lane change. Fun to try , but I won't subscribe to it. I was hoping "Summon" would be included. It appears not to be.

Not Model 3 related, but on the subject of cars from Giga Shanghai to Canada. I've confirmed that for some months now, the Model Y has been shipping from the U.S. instead of Shanghai and unlike the ones sold in the U.S.,they do come to Canada equipped with the LFP battery.

Tesla 3 Highland Nova wheels without trim

I agree. The cars are produced and on the road, so it's no longer a "project".

Tesla service & maintenance: the biggest difference with legacy car makers?

My car has been flawless (Shanghai build), except the rear view mirror was never tightened enough. Tesla Service came to my house and fixed it in 3 minutes. Actually, the Service at my GM dealer was always perfect too. I felt sad leaving them to switch to Tesla and still do.

Model 3 RWD 2022 Drive Unit Failure Pyrofuse

At least your car has a "Bonnet and Boot". All I got was a "Frunk and a Trunk".😉

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Yes, it will be in a huge yard in Vaughn where the train drops it off. The truck then picks it up to be dropped at or near the Tesla dealer. It will not be a fast process.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Looking at the delivery photos some have posted here which show Model Ys parked nearby, I can see the checkered flag pattern on the tires which mean Kumho tires. That means MYs must be coming from China again instead of the U.S. Must have been shipped with the M3s.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

Guys, don't be worried about the odometer reading on the paperwork. 30 kms or more is just Tesla covering their bases. All car dealers do this from what I've seen. Some list 90 kms. The kms on a new Shanghai Tesla should be about 12. A factory rep said they are 10 kms from the port. The other 2...

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

That's where I got mine. I bought two pucks and two cheap jacks because I like the idea of jacking one side of the car evenly during tire rotations.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

I can assure you that at least on the Model Y from China, the car arrives with the PPF thrown inside. The service center installs it before delivery. Not sure about the Model 3.

Model 3 Highland (Canada) Waiting room

I'm not surprised that the Shanghai Model 3 RWD comes with the adapter, carpeted mats and front mud flaps. It probably includes PPF ahead of the rear wheels too. The Shanghai Model Y RWD has all those things plus the full Premium interior and top sound system. Strangely, no fog lamps though...

If you think it's worth your time, you might want to look through these postings from when Shanghai Model Ys were shipped. It might give you some clues on the logistics across Canada...
