Wrapping the nosecone - does it mess up the sensors?

Practical testing seems to say no, but that doesn't make sense given how they work.

My S's nosecone is wrapped with Xpel Ultimate. The pattern that Xpel has, takes into account the holes for the sensors both front bumper, rear bumper and nosecone. Thus, the sensors are not covered and work just fine.

Confirmed not an issue. I covered mine with 3M 1080 wrap, no negative impact.

Curious is anybody has found a different wrap that matches better the solid white paint (code PBCW).

Can the nose be painted or will that mess with the AP?
