where to place the dash-cam ?

since there is no beam behind the huge windscreen where would you place a dashcam ?
glue it near the central mirror as usual but how to run the wiring ?
direct on top of the dash draws to much attention
a window in the nosecone ?
any brilliant ideas ?

Could you put it further back. it would have a view sort of like this:

How about attach it to the A-Pillar? Maybe someplace below the sunvisor attachment? That way you could route the wires down along the A-Pillar to where ever you need to.

Since the X has no cross member, how does TM get power to the rear view mirror, and also what about the front camera for the TACC system, which needs power and data?

My guess is that they have a flat, semi-transparent ribbon run from the rear view mirror up and back towards the falcon wing attachment point on the roof.

The autopilot camera may not be tuned for human viewing. It may be shifted to IR/thermal, etc. to help identify objects and people easier.

good point! perhaps another pin hole lens beside the AP camera? it would not need much more space
