What difference between

895.16 (2012+) and
1004397-05-O - ASY, TOP PAD IP COMPLETE, PUR / PUR BLK (2016+)?
Are they compatible?

Most likely the alcatera/suede top. Fitment should be identical as per my local SC. I want to actually switch my 2018 non-alcatera to the 2015 alcatera dashbtop!

This is a parts catalog for 2012-2015. There is with and without alcantara. And for 2016+ different path Nr, with and without alcantara too

My friend claims that the difference is only in the quality of the leather. For 2016+ leather is natural. But the service center said that the old and the new are not compatible. I understand them. They look formally at the fact that the part numbers are different and do not have the experience of replacing the old with the new.

That’s odd since my own service centre said it’s completely compatible. Hmm...
