As a camper myself, it takes way too much time to set up and take down. Maybe it would get faster over time, but I couldn't see doing this in the rain.
And the most obvious downfall, you can't drive with the tent up.

I like Truck slide in Campers. Some of them allow you stay in the Camper off of the Truck. If it is Raining you can just get in it without having anything to setup. A slide in Camper could be made for the Cybertruck with an over the Cab area. Just add a Wind Deflector to direct Wind over it.

Given the mall type of buyers for the CT, what a swing and a miss by Tesla for not finding a way to pump the truck's HVAC into their funny little tent.
