Trading Model 3 - what to do

I have searched for this but can't find a definitive guide.

I'm trading in my Model 3, it's going to an independent (so not Tesla) dealer.

What do I need to do in terms of factory settings, account settings etc. so that it's basically 'clean' for the next owner.

I have my credit card linked to my account for charging, premium connectivity (£10 a month) that obviously I want to remove when I park up and hand over the 2 card keys.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide ?

Many thanks 😊

Open the app
Click on the head icon top right if its showing your car to go to the higher level
You'll see an option to add/remove products - click that
Click on the remove as it defaults to add
select your car and remove it (the last step I haven't just tried for obvious reasons)

That should detach the car from your account

In car car, do a factory reset which is on the service menu

Last time I did that I decided to wait until I got to the trade in (Tesla in my case), so I'd still have the settings in case car was not ready. It then took "quite a while" to run.

maybe with Cloud Profiles I could just clear it on arrival, and if I had to take the car back then re-download the Cloud Profile?
