They said 8 hours, with a half hour break. So averaging ~66 MPH?What was the speed they drove at in their 500 mile Fremont to San Diego drive?
Mostly 55 by the looks of things. What was the speed they drove at in their 500 mile Fremont to San Diego drive?
I think they said 8.5 hours (?)…What was the speed they drove at in their 500 mile Fremont to San Diego drive?

Sounded like they are already using them for the Sparks-Fremont run (pack/drivetrain delivery I presume). Didn’t say anything about car deliveries.'we are going to keep them all to ourselves for now' ?
He said they were posting a video of the whole trip in real time without any jump cuts. 500 miles in 8 hours averages to 62.5 MPH but trip included mandatory brake check I believe and also a bathroom break so actual drive time was less. What was the speed they drove at in their 500 mile Fremont to San Diego drive?
Yea, they showed that they "COULD" accelerate up the pass, to show how much power there is. But you know overall the speeds they can run at are regulated by signage.Mostly 55 by the looks of things.

EDIT: Seems like some of it is higher as well:

The (stupid) legal speed limit for trucks in California is 55mph.I think they said 8.5 hours (?)…
To answer my own question, the video at the end showed the driver cruising at 55 mph. No doubt some faster and some slower speeds depending on traffic. I thought I heard the person beside Elon on stage (who was he, anyone know?) say something like 82 kph, which would be average 51 mph, which is about right for that distance in the time they took. I guess I could do a distance/time calculation taking into account the 1/2 hour break...What was the speed they drove at in their 500 mile Fremont to San Diego drive?
We didn't find out price and availability. Two things I'd sure like to know...Semi seems to be the best Tesla yet. Not sure why there is not more attention, it’s a total industry game changer!
