I apologize if this has been previously addressed but I didn’t find it. I was so excited to use the Siri shortcuts to perform certain functions. One in particular is preheating the inside of the car. I notice that sometimes it works but often I get a response like, “There was a problem” with the app” and then it shows the Stats app. What is even stranger, is I will tell Siri, “Heat my car” (having already recorded it) and so I get the error that it didn’t work so I will go to say it to Siri again and then I sometimes get a message confirming that the climate is on. So it originally reported that there was a problem when in fact, it actually worked and reported it as an error. Other times I just get the error and try Siri over and over again and my wife will be like, “ John, you could have just gone out and done it yourself 5 minutes ago!” I’m just stubborn because I want it to work and in fact, sometimes it will work after several tries. Just wanting to know if I’m alone here or if anyone has suggestions to make the Siri thing a little more dependable.
Please use a phrase that doesn't have the word "car" in it. There is a "car interaction" which causes Siri to attempt to use the Tesla app.
So, please go to the Settings app and tap on "Siri & Search" and then "My Shortcuts" and delete the shortcuts associated with Stats that you have created. Then re-record those shortcuts inside Stats app.
For example, I used "unlock it" and "make it hot" and "open the trunk".
