I have been reading alot of forum post on the “uncork” of performance on 2016/2017 S models. I see that most believe that mostly D models can be uncorked (getting 4.2-4.3 kind of performance). But since I have a 60/75 RWD (Facelift) 2017 model (10/2016) I need help finding the unicorns that can help my case when talking Service Center into making the upgrade for me.
Can anybody help me get to the point where Service Center cannot just say “its not an option for your model”?
So basically I am looking for people that have an uncorked RWD model - or got an “upgrade” done at some time…
If your answer is also “it is not possible” - please state with details Why!?
Special Drive Unit required? if so - what is needed ? and what is not approved?
And what are the differences in details between them.
I love my Tes S “standard” - but would really love to get the “next step” somehow…
Looking forward to finding a solution - and maybe even help more than just myself.
